Hi I am planning to move and settle in OZ very soon and have few options available. Just need advice on which one will be the best and most simple way to move OZ. Quick facts are: Fact 1 Abt Me: OFFSHORE: ACS assessed ANZSCO 261399 Network Security [sOL4] (July 2010) ||Certified Member: ACS, 5 Year ICT Experience||IELETS 7.5+ Each (May 2010)|| Currently Applied Victoria State Sponsorship and ACS Reassessment in progress ICT Security Specialist ANZSCO 262112[sOL 3&4] Fact 2 Abt my Fiance: ONSHORE: Dentist on Student Visa Sub-class 572 ||IELETS:7.5+ Each (June 2010) ||Studying Dental Hygiene at TAFE ||She will be assessed Dental Hygienist ANZSCO 411211 after passing out in Dec 2011 Fact 3 Abt my real sister: PR living in Melbourne since 2008 Fact 4: We both pass new and old point’s tests system 120+ (old) and 65+(new) Current Situation: I am engaged to a dentist who is pursuing her studies in TAFE Dental Hygiene course and I am offshore working for an ICT Giant. We both are planning to get married in July in OZ and currently I am in a process to wait for my VIC state sponsorship result mail. I am not applying to other state (ACT has my code in SMP) because I don’t want to jeopardize my VIC SMP application. Adding to that I have launched new ACS application for new code ICT Security Specialist which is in SA SMP as well as SOL 3 and 4 Planned: I want to leave Melbourne on a relative sponsored visa in July this year and will get married in OZ. By July I am sure I will have my new assessment as well as some state sponsorship results so that I can apply either ACT or SA. Questions: Apart from relative sponsored visitor's visa is there any way I can stay in OZ with my fiancée and work there immediately after getting married to her? Is there any way I can bridge a relative sponsored Visitor's visa with Partner visa (once I am married:cute:). Can I lodge my 176 offshore if I get my state sponsorship/175 while I am in OZ on a relative sponsored visitor's visa? Can my sister sponsor my fiancée to lodge her 886 once she passes out in Dec and can I become her secondary applicant on her 886 visa (being already a 175/176 applicant) ? I am sorry for the super-complicated situation:idea: but only thing I need is to be there and buy some time. I appreciate the brainstorming and all comments are welcome  regards Big Bob

RegDwight In relation with your professionalism comment I strongly disagree with you.You mean people who are offshore aren't meeting professional standards. I don't know on what regards you said that....Man I work for an IT giant and have traveled 6 countries and 3 continents in my whole career and found hardly any changes in professionalism. Regarding off-shore people I am sure or not whether you are in OZ or some nearby islands.. :biglaugh: Tell me one thing... If OZ dunno require any experienced people then why the hell do they give you points for years of experience ..Why these state lists...why the whole migration process all in all ...think over it :cute:.... No offence...but who will manage and train all new hired graduates and make them do live projects rather than classroom toy projects.:Randy-git:..Learning:Experience always count...Be any profession. regards Bog Bob

Congrats ChiltzandTig..So patience paid haan... ...Cheers do 176 real fast ... regards Bob

There were other reasons last year that we had closure of applications what I think. This year they wont do it as they have already notified people in December that there will be a new point system starting July 1 and other medical biometric stuff. Last year we had three major changes which were fair enough to them to suspend applications: 1. Introduction of new SOL lists. 2. Introduction of SMP's . 3. Federal and state elections This year what I feel they wont suspend the applications as they know people are still awaiting for their SMP applications,Reassessment etc. Its my point out view which I thought but you never know :cute: ..they are completely unpredictable. regards Big Bob

Hi YOYO Thanks for the input... logically you are absolutely correct:yes: as SA and ACT are charging fee and I have seen people getting granted sponsorship or at least getting results in 4-5 weeks max.I know that my ANZSCO code is in ACT as well and my assessment expires late July...So what I feel is if I came along 14 weeks.. I don't mind waiting few more weeks rather than jeopardizing VIC sponsorship as they are just finding reasons to reject people:skeptical:. All the best for your application too friend.:wubclub: @ AUZSCI : So you really going real fast mate ...all the best and thanks for the support again:smile:. FYI I have seen people getting 176 grants+VIC sponsorship in 4-8 weeks too:cute:...I wish you break that 30 days record :wubclub:( in other forum)..All the best. @ FOHA: Yes FOHA they had been real bad with you I know that... and I know its suicidal to apply somewhere else at this time but it was just yoyo's point of view ...I have few flawless backup plans my friend ...including a sure shot one ...will let you know when time comes mate... I will suggest you to wait as well as majority of offshore ICT applications are not being processed, you know that ...I know VIC had not been good to you:sad: but you never know what in there for future..rest other options are always open for you.. @STRIDER : Thanks man... I know where ya are coming from but I am sure a week will come when Inbox of all people in this thread will get what they waited for...Patience is virtue... I got that  I have decided to join Yoga classes rather than wasting time to check mail to increase my patience level till VIC sends the mail... cheers! Bob

15th week on the roll ... I had never checked my inbox so much for the last 25 years as I have checked in these 14 weeks :realmad:... I am wondering there had been some typo error in that generic mail that they sent everyone...In real would have been 21 weeks ....and they sent 12 weeks :biglaugh:..God save VICTORIA regards Big Bob
-
Hey auzsci...So you finally did it :cute: ...uh...All the best for you 176 and now get it granted real fast ...Lucky youuu :wubclub:...I am following ya...keep me in loop :happy_face_cowboy_w

Avioz ..Its a very good observation and truly makes sense....... I think since they opened the SMP first and got flooded with tonnes of applications so they are looking for people in the pool of applications who are really committed and prove a good reason to be there.Every second person had to resend the same letter of commitment again(my opinion). No offence...It sounds politically correct what Avioz said but Yes its their fault as they should have been ready to take the first blow of much awaited SMPS and should pre-planned their own resources. Wasting applicants time is really not acceptable :nah:as some people got their assessments expired, some go their IELETS out of date and all others were just left in dilemma that whats happening to their application.Playng with peoples efforts, money and time.Left confused they couldn't decide whether they should they go for 175 or lodge another state application...all jumbled up...Better they streamline there process and provide results ASAP. regards Big BOB "The Network Builder"

Nadare Its not working...even I am not able to logon or reset password..I even tried clicking on forgot you password and still no auto-e-mail was sent on my e-mail address...I am 100%sure thats its a bug... I couldn't login since I applied online for the VIC SMP on 4th Nov...But I had been receiving all e-mails from them in my inbox (including letter of commitment and reason to live in Victoria including the famous delay mail)...So calm down ...nothing to worry about....Just dont loose your e-mail password...your lucky scroll gonna come there..All the best for your application..:wubclub:. cheers!
