  1. Hi folks, do I really need to accomplish the e-medical questionnaire before I attend the actual medical examinations? I am asking this because I've tried to access the e-medical link in my on-line application but it always gives me this message "Your request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later". Do I need a particular browser to access this e-medical or there's really a technical problem with the link? Anyone here who also experienced the same? Will really appreciate your reply. Thanks a lot. Cheers!!!:arghh:
  2. QUOTE=lebourvellec;1936465137]You will be PR and entitled to Medicare - therefore you should have no hospital bills if give birth in a public hospital. Thanks a lot, i am very grateful that there are people here like you that are willing to help those in need of migration advice. God bless...
  3. Thanks for your reply, i was really enlightened. We're just worrying that another changes may happen on how they process pending visa application that might have adverse effect on ours. We really waited this for so long and now that we have given a chance we dont want to slip this on our hands. But at the same time we are also worrying on what we expect in Australia if we decide to have the baby born there as we probably still in transistion period and im not sure if i will immediately get a job to support the hospital bills and our daily needs. We have a savings of course but that might not be enough. By the way my wife is currently on her 15th week of pregnancy.
  4. Thanks Melbkitty. But what if we decide to take the meds and they grant our visa afterwards, do you know whether the child also entitled for a visa?
  5. Hi everyone, just want to ask your opinion on our case. We lodged our 176 visa application on 13/06/11 and our previous CO requested initial documents from us in August of the same year which we all submitted. However, due to some reasons which we still don't know what exactly are, our CO had not contacted us despite our numerous follow ups. We've already lost our hope in our application until a new CO sent us an e-mail requesting meds and PCC. But the problem is, my wife is currently pregnat with our 2nd baby. I red some articles regarding the effect of x-ray to unborn child and it seems they all agree that the risk of having an adverse effect is very slim. If we decided to proceed w/ our meds, do you think the doctor will allow us? And if ever we have our visa granted, do we need to immediately migrate before the birth of the child or we can stay here and wait for the baby. If we choose the latter, will the child automatically be eligible for a visa? Or if we migrate before the child is born, does the child automatically become an Australian citizen upon his birth? Thanks in advance to those who will give their advice on our case. We will be grateful to hear from you. Cheers!!!
  6. Thanks so much. I really appreciate your reply to my post. At least now I fell more comfortable in completing form 1022. Will update you of the outcome. Cheers!
  7. Thanks for your input. But how do you think my CO take that? Will it expedite ourapplication or the other way around. I was really thinking that this might adversely affect our application but i can't do anything about that since my mother is not interested anymore to migrate with us. And how about the documentary requirements the CO requested which are related to my mother? Does it automatically waive? Thanks maggiemay:)
  8. Hi folks, I just want to enquire if there's anyone here who happens to experience or might know the possible effect of withdrawing a dependent on a 176 visa app. Ours was filed on 6/13/11 and we were contacted by our CO in August of the same year to provide documents which are mostly focused on documentary evidence to support the full dependency of my mother, who was then my dependent (the one I refer above). We were able to provide those documents but my CO had not contacted us despite our multiple follow ups. Almost 3 years had gone by and many changes happened including the cessation of my mother's full dependency to my family as she already lives with her parents ever since her mother encountered a life threatening disease in July 2013, upon the request of her siblings which are all live abroad. Her siblings are actually the ones supporting them now. We were not able to inform DIAC about this development since we already lost our hope that our application will still push through. However, last Tuesday, a new CO was assigned to us and he was asking of latest evidence of my mother's full dependency to us which I'm afraid we cannot provide as this is not the case any more. What shall I do now? I hope there is someone here who can provide us a useful insight of our case since I think this is the only hindrance on our application because aside from this, the only pending documents now are the police clearances and medical examinations of me and my wife and the medical examination of our daughter Lianne. We will be really grateful of your inputs. Thanks in advance!!! Cheers..
  9. Thanks Justin. Hope everyone would meet their C.O. very soon!
  10. Hi All, I am new to this thread. I hope you would count me in to this gang. Hehe. We filed our 176 on 13 June 2011. VIC confirmed sending form 1100 to DIAC on 16 June 2011. Just got one question regarding our application and I hope you guys can help me... When we filed our application, the passport of my 5 month old daughter was still on process so I just indicate on the on-line form (under passport no.) the word "On process". Now that we already got her passport, do we need to complete form 929 to inform the Department of her passport details? If yes, is there anyone here who knows how can we do this? Thanks in advance to all who would give their inputs! Cheers! Jeff
  11. Thanks mate! I'm sure everyone would agree.
