Thanks for your reply, its very helpful. So at end of the temp visa could we apply for a different one or does it not work that way. Does that mean there is no chance of permanent residency following that? Also how would i know which of the people on here are agents.

Hi all, can anyone offer any advice about any registered migration agent that i could contact. I am a Mental health Nurse in the UK, I qualified in 2011with an Advanced Diploma. I am aware that I need to be qualified at Degree level so hope to have my last module complete around June of this year (which will give me the degree). I am 48 years old so would likely need a sponsorship to get to Oz? My husband is a Driving Instructor which isn't on the list. Its a minefield so I would prefer to contact an agent for guidance/advice. Thanks in advance

Hi, my OH is a driving instructor. I couldnt find much info so rang australia house to enquire and was told it wasnt a skill to get you into Oz as they drive on the opposite side of the road over there. Dont know if this is of any help. If you find any ifo can you let me know. thanks

Hi all, I have just qualified as a mental health nurse and my OH is a regisitered driving instructor and qualified to train people to become driving instructors. He also has a trade as a fabricator/welder but he hasnt worked in this position for 12 years as he changed occupation to driving instructor. The thing is, when doing the online assessment there isnt anything that matches in the occupation drop down box. Can anyone help with ideas what we should do? also does anyone know how driving instructors fare in Oz? any info would be appreciated :biggrin: thanks in advance
