  1. Thank you I will take a look at the link now...I have tried to Google wind turbines Australia but just getting slightly baffled by all the info out there and which route to go down...I'm sure ask the hard work will be worth it tho
  2. Thank you I will have a look at the state lists
  3. I have looked on both lists and his job is on the csol list. Am I right in thinking that we then have to look into the state lists? I have also come across a couple of websites who do seminars in London offering information for emigrating has anybody ever been to any of these? Just wondering if they maybe helpful as I'm getting very confused by the whole thing lol, thanks in advance xx
  4. Thank you both for your replies...we are in very early stages so haven't fully looked into everything yet just after all the advice we can get.I will check the sol list. Have briefly looked into migration options lots to look into and think about, thanks again
  5. Hello Me and my partner are considering relocating to sunny Australia with our 2 young children in the hope of making a better life. My partner has been working in the wind turbine industry for the past 4 years and is currently working as a commissioning supervisor. Could anyone give us any advice as to what the wind industry is like? Whether they are recruiting at the mo or if anyone knows of any companies that offer sponsorship? Also any advice on areas to live would be great... Thank you in advance
  6. Hey My partner is currently working as an offshore wind turbine technician, we are currently looking into emigrating to oz with our 2children, does anyone know if there is a high demand for workers in this sector & if so where abouts in oz would be the best place to look at moving to? He also has 12yrs exp in mechanical engineering, hrdraulics, diesel generators ets? any help would be much appreciated
  7. Hey Thanks for you help guys  Im a housewife at the mo, my partner is an offshore wind turbine technician & has yrs of experience in mechanical engineering, diesel generators, hydraulics etc, so we would need to take in to account where the best opportunities of work would be for him?
  8. Hey sorry about that it was very vague, i am a keen horseperson so would like to live somewhere where a livery yard maybe nearby, but also somewhere lively enough for the children so im guessing suburbanites would prob best describe us? Hope this helps abit

    Help!!!

Hello My partner & I are seriously considering moving to Australia with our 2 children in about 12months. We are only at the very beginning of the journey, so I would be very grateful for any information anyone maybe able to give us. I have heard about migration advisers & looked at a few websites, not sure if we really need to use them or not? My partner works as an offshore wind turbine tech so we would obviously need to live near to where his potential work would be. I also have a passion for horses so would like to live near to somewhere where I could continue riding etc. I do have a horse which i would love to take with me Also would be good to be near schools etc for the children. sorry if its all abit rabbled...any information or advise that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated Thanks Zoe
