Hi can anyone please tell me if there is any wado-ryu karate clubs south of the river, my son is 8 and whilst we lived in the uk he trained twice a week and would like to carry it on here. We are living in secret harbour . Thanks

Hi we are a family of 5 our kids are 8,7and 2 we have recently moved to secret harbour and not knowing anyone here it would be great to meet up and make some new friends.

Hi yes we are still in our holiday rental we booked it for 4 weeks in some ways i wish we hadnt booked it for this long as just want to get into our long term with all our own things but you dont know these things when your back in the uk,i havent looked at any property in rockingham but the shopping centre is good and the beach is beautiful. Keep in touch and could maybe meet up when yous arrive, good luck with everything

Hi karen and colin not long now, We arrived in secret harbour on 23rd of aug and secured our long term rental yesterday but the agents took about 4 days to get back with a answer which is longer than expected, we also looked at quite alot so might have been abit fussy. Good luck kelly

Hi nic great news on your hubby being offered a job, We have been in secret harbour for 2 weeks now so im a newbie ,as you will know its a lovely place but very different from uk where you coming from ? We have 3 children 8,7and 2 my oldest boy and girl started secret harbour primary on mon it seems to be a lovely school.I bet your busy getting everything sorted to start your new life here,would be great to meet up when you arrive kelly x

Hi sam hope your all ok,how are your plans going?Were all good 4 weeks tomorrow till we fly feeling really nervous but excitied. We have a short term rental booked in secret harbour for 4 weeks and hoping to find somewhere long term not to far from that area. When are you arriving in perth? x

Hi great post lots of useful information,glad you are settling and getting things sorted.Yous seem to have done so much in such a short time. Hi i found the rental on STAYZ , the lady we are renting ours off has 3 houses in secret harbour if you put seachange wa into google you will be able to see them. We arent in oz yet fly out 11 weeks,when do yous plan on going? Kelly

Hi Clare, how are your plans coming on? I spoke to singapore airlines last week i rang the manchester office i was told as long as its your first time entering australia and you plan to stay, your each allowed 40kgs each and 7kgs hand lauagge i said to the lady i was told it was only if you were in 1st class she told me it wasnt and said she would add the extra allowance to our booking. Have you managed to secure a rental yet? Kelly

Hi glad you managed to find a rental, Cant help you with the primary school we asked the lady we are renting our short term accomodation off and she told us which school would be in our catchment area. We arrive in Secret Harbour 23/08/11 so if your still in the area it would be great to meet up. Good luck with everything Kelly

Thanks, how did you find 5 Dupuy way? How far away is secret harbour primary from here. What immunisation records did you need to provide?Have you moved into a long term rental now and if so are you still in Secret Harbour. Sorry for all the ?s but want to find out as much as possible before we arrive. Thanks Kelly

Hi claire hope your all well, my children are 8,7and 2, yes i agree it is going to be a long time off school for them not a bad idea to get some school work for them. We only have 4 weeks in our holiday rental hoping this is going to be enough time to get everything sorted without having to rush into things. I havent rang the airline yet but will let you know what they say,were not posh enough to go first class so if thats the case we wont be getting 40kgs. Speak soon

Hi claire yes we are flying with with singapore to i will give them a call and try to increase ours, we have been told by a few people that if your validating your visa for first time your allowed 40 kgs .Not sure how far away you will be from us? When i looked on school website my oldest will stay in the same year at school but my middle one will go back a year,have you made any enquires to any schools yet? Keep in touch Kelly

We have booked our flights arrive in perth 23/08/11, feeling very nervous now,so much to do dont know where to start. We are in the process of securing a short term rental in Secret Harbour for when we arrive, would be grateful if anyone could give me their thoughts on the area. Hi glad your all well, we booked our flights we leave 22/08/11 so feeling excited and nervous to,we are looking at staying south of the river possibly secret harbour,rockingham area have been looking at some short term furnished accomodation but cant seem to find many places that arent already booked up. Have you decided where your going to get your short stay accomodation. Nice to speak to you again its good to talk to people who are in the same situation.

Hi hope your well,yes we have to sell property market not to good so going to see if we would be able to get enough money together to rent it out not sure though i wish we were in rented. yes we have been looking at rentals in port kennedy ,secret harbour and rockingham area for a short term rental then will look for a long term one depending on where my husband manages to find employment as we will have to rent for a while soon.So excitied.
