51 Melbourne outskirts semi rural. (acreage) Born here. Never want to live in the UK. Went there when I was very young as my late Mum was English and visiting relatives. I love the Oz climate and lifestyle.

Dogs and cats. Had both of them all my life. A house isn't a home without a dog and a cat in my opinion.

Good point but it shouldn't cause her to limp. Does she keep licking or gnawing at her paw / leg?

It could be a grass seed in her paw. They are evil things, they have barbs so they work their way in and need a vet to get them out. http://www.vetwest.com.au/pet-library/grass-seeds
