  3. I applied to the Melbourne office and kept logging in to check the progress but there was never any update or change then out of the blue 2 days ago I got an email advising me of my test date at the end of this month. Even now when I log in it just says 'application received'. I'd say keep an eye on your inbox more than their website:jiggy:Good luck!

  5. You will hopefully hear soon and I just this second got an email and I'm booked in for May 30th!!!
  6. Oh? That's interesting to learn. I thought I'd stuffed up my application even though I went through it with a fine tooth comb. Please keep me updated of your progress. Good luck.
  7. No, nothing as of yet. I logged in to check my application and it still says 'application received' and then there's a message saying I've to upload a few of the documents but I did already do that with my initial application.

  9. Hi! I've been in Melbourne nearly 4 years and I'm still using my old Tesco light bulbs that I brought over with me.
  10. 2. I will feign dysentery so I can sit in the bog for as long as possible and therefore minimise contact with the in laws. This is me too.
  11. OMG Omar Khan's in Bradford is delicious! I was there in August while on a wee trip back home.
  12. Another one here who used Crown and a part container with no problems.
  13. We shipped everything but the kitchen sink. You can take your knives and creams and lotions. My advice would be to put them in little zip lock bags then into a plastic container to avoid breakage and spillages. We took 3 massive plastic boxes full of shower gels, deoderant, body lotion etc... And yes, throw in hay fever tablets too of you need them as they are pricey here. Good luck!
  14. I'm a little bit more confident in my own skin but I am also very lonely. I haven't managed to make any real friends here but that's perhaps my own fault for just relaxing at home with the hubby.
  15. We used Crown and had no regrets. We weren't impressed with White at all when the rep came over. Hope that helps.
