Yes I got Grant today. I frontloaded Medicals last year so they only asked for Police Clearance. I had them with me so I replied immediately and attached them by email and in 20 minutes I received the Grant. Initial entry date 29th Dec 2012

My CO Allocation date was 1st week of September 2011

Received my Medical/PCC Request today. I ama HR Applicant from Kenya

Hey Uli and all others who may remember me on this thread...remember I was rejected by Vic...just to share some good news, I got state sponsorship from South Australia today...so for anyone rejected by Vic, dont give up...try South Australia or other states...it was approved within 2.5 weeks of lodging application so pretty fast...now onto lodging the 176 application. md8008...will you be able to apply for 175 on the new points system from July 1st ? If you have 65 points on the new system then you can apply for 175 in July and thats what I am depending on plus also re-applying for Vic in 6 months....Also will you be able to get a new ACS assessment ? if you can, then all is not lost.... Every Time I feel bad and sad about rejection I read posts about people who have been here 4 years and still waiting, others who are in Cat 4 and others who are not on any SOL and I realise it could have been worse for me.... so do not despair. From what I read losts of people got Vic SS on their second application after being refused on their first application... but I am hoping things go well for you and that soon you may get the answer you desire.

Yes I score 115. But anyway, such is life...you win some, you lose some... but I have emailed VIC long and detailed email and I am sure if they read it, the very least they can do is to shed a tear on reading how badly I want to go to VIC ...of course even better if they weep openly and are so remorseful of their decision to reject me that they have sufficient willpower to overturn it and sponsor me...LOL.. I cannot believe I am actually joking about this now yet in the morning I was just dizzy from the shock of rejection.

LOL @ Machang. If VIC only knew how much we loved them, they would sponsor all of us without thinking twice.

Thanks Vickymel and Sandy. It really is hard to tell the reasons for rejections... maybe I am too old (35 years...LOL)... But i have emailed them back asking for reasons for my rejection and explaining why I feel I should have been granted sponsorship.. I explained that i mintend to reapply in 6 months and so it would be great if they would be kind enough to give me reasons so that I am not setting myself up for another rejection in 6 months...... I dont expect anything from them and even if they dont respond, at least I put my thoughts across to them. I have only 115 points so I cannot go for the 175 right now. My plan is to wait till June and apply for Victoria again or to apply for the 175 on July 1st when the points system changes coz on the new points system I qualify. But anyway, for now, Aluta Continua !! (the struggle continues!!!).

@hglim - Yes I was requested for a further declaration. My case ID is between 2110 and 2120... I am sure u understand I cannot say exactly what it is here.
