  1. Nope! No extra evidence was sent. My CO rasied that I should have trade set assessment and my MA was ' reasonably confident' that I have to do skill set assessment but I disagreed and made an argument that I already sent DIAC TRA assessment including 8 years working experience so I don't need anything else! And I was right. Even though I am not a MA but I have done some work with visa application for myself and I'm proud to say all of my application was successful. I went to this MA because my employer always engage him for IMMI work.
  2. Just letting you know guys ...I got my 457 approval on 09/07/13 , application was lodged on May 29 ,13. This could have been quicker than this as my MA took 2 weeks to respond to CO's email... So happy.. I hope you guys not too far from good news.. Cheers
  3. I was in Oz for 10 years! Yes it is 10 years!!!!! I moved in there as a student , I have enjoyed verious type of visa except parmanent visa . ..it's a long story .... I just got my 457 approval and hopefully my next visa will be PR .....
  4. Hi , I have applied for 457 visa as a cook, I have over 8 years of cooking experience in Australia also I have TRA assessment . But I got email from my MA which making me really worried . Please read the below email from MA and advise me ; It appears your case officer is after a 457 visa Trade Set Skill Assessment, as is her right under current migration regulations. I have sent her your TRA and Cert III again but I am reasonably confident that she will request the 457 assessment, which is a lengthy process, but also requires evidence of three years full time experience. I am awaiting her response so I can’t tell you right now what she will say, but as soon as I hear something I will let you know. If you would like further information on this assessment you can visit the link below. http://www.innovation.gov.au/Skills/SkillsAssessment/TradesRecognitionAustralia/457SkillsAssessmentProgram/Pages/default.aspx Best regards

  9. Hi , My application (856) has been refused because I was on bridging visa over 28 days at the time of the application lodgement . I did apply for MRT , it's been arround 14 months no news from MRT . As I'm onshore and given bridging C so I can not apply for bridging B . I need to go home by March 4 , 2013. My questions are : 1. If I go offshore what will happen to my MRT case ? Still MRT will process my application as I won't be able to come back unless I get a new visa? 2. Could I request immigration to change my previous onshore application ( which has refused) to offshore ? So that I could engage a lawyer here in Sydney and go back home and wait for MRT decesion? Please advise me . Regards, faraway
