1. Hey, fairly new to this but the last set of questions i asked I got some great replies! Im already living in Perth on my partners international student visa as a defacto partner (573). With this visa I can work in my profession as a Primary teacher 0.6 of the week, which ofcouse isn't ideal but better then nothing. I've got a couple of friends who are teachers and have been sponsored in by private schools, but they are secondary school teachers and are on the SOL 1 list. So what I what I want to know is my occupation is on the CSOL, if im a very lucky boy, can the private schools sponsor me in? My second question is that my partner is studying to be a preprimary teacher, she has a year and 3 months left of her degree, so if I can't/don't get sponsored, what would our options be to stay in the country, her occupation is high on the list and she has studied here? And what visa would we need to apply for and what procedures would we need to follow? I know it's a little early to about her but I like to be on top of things! Looking forward to your responses. Sorry if this appears rushed, I'm just watching the footy (soccer) while writing this!
 2. Graduate Teacher Pay Scale 2010, there has been a rise in 2011 which im not sure and teachers have been promised a 12% payrise too over the next 3 years.

Level Salary as at October 2010

2.1 $56,112* = £37,807

2.2 $61,567* = £41,483

4. WOW!! Dint expect that reaction....you need to chill a bit....it was just a bit of fun. And yes it is all mining, and the point I was making due to all the money flying around, WA is very expensive to make and that why the teachers wage looks huge compared to the UK wage. LOL at England having wealth, how much money does England owe to certain organisations? 800bn?
 5. Im in the same position as you, I basically live between Perth and the UK as my gf lives out there. But come July at the end of the UK school term il be making the big move. Iv found in Perth there ARE primary jobs out there but usually short term contracts BUT it very much WHO you know which counts and usually its a friend or someone you know the recommends you. However if you are preprimary trained you will have no problem getting a job. Wage for graduates start in the region of 62K and there is a 12% over the next 3 years, but as others have said it pittace compared to others in WA. Good luck for your move. #FACT: If WA was it's own country its would be the third richest country in the world!
 6. Im pretty much in a very similar situation to yourself. I am a primary teacher also, but am now just very confused with all the changes. At the moment im on a 573 dependants visa, so hoping that if i can get in of my own back will mean better working rights, and lead to pr alot quicker...otherwise its going yo be a long process waiting for my gf to finish uni and then applying
