I`ve just had 2 huge bundles sent over with January sale stuff from M&S and Debenhams.70% off and only £15 delivery.M&S you can order 25 items.Debenhams didn`t seem to have a limit!Get looking online with your mates and split the del charge.

It must be hard for folk in the UK to understand.If i was still there and i read you talk about the sunshine like that i don`t think i`d get it.We`ve been here a year now and i still look out the window to see what the weathers going to be like but as you said it`s a novelty and it will wear off! My husband has had to prove himself and build up his reputation all over again.We are immigrants and as such have to work hard.If his employer shouts jump...........He gets less holidays, 4 weeks seems common for most.He has more travelling time,most people have.He complains that he doesn`t get to see the sun during the week as QLD clocks stay the same.I read a thread on here before i left the UK.The lady said - The same old stuff needs done during the week,washing ironing,packed lunches,going to work,but at the weekend we have a ball!!!!!!!!

You can get a delivery from Next, Debenhams and M&S.Only takes a few days to get hereIf you shopped there before you`ll know what fits you.If you need to try clothes on best to go into a shop.

I would strive to be happy wherever i lived.I was happy in Scotland.I am happy in Brisbane.If i was miserable in Scotland i don`t think coming out here would have changed that.I made friends in Scotland.I have made friends here.I mostly do the same things here as i did at home.That`s what make me happy.

Get yourself over to QLD!Some of that stuff you mentioned is the same here.I tell them that they`re not looking in my bag and what are they gonna do about it -Nothing!Yes you need to adapt quite a bit but i take it on as a challenge.ie they`ll not get the better of me!It`s not easy and we were lucky to get the red carpet treatment.You`ve gotta be tough to survive.Def not for the faint hearted.Not everyone can cope,but i would always say try another state first before you give up.Know people who have and they love their life now.

The Bayside.First Cleveland now Redland Bay.Still looking around.You need to land somewhere but we feel it`s been a good base to start.

We had deceided on P.Pines to start us off.So glad we changed our mines at the last min.From the UK it looks fab.We took a drive around it and i felt it was ...fake,concrete jungle,not Australia,high up on slopes...well just glad we didn`t go.It was the reports from the state school that convinced me to look elsewhere.Hope island is nice but way expensive.We took a drive around and most of the estates are security gated.So we only got a small peak!I was convinced that i wanted to be near the Gold Coast but now i live about 40mins away and have been here for 1yr(tomorrow).
