As far as I remember they were giving extension to those people who had been requested to do their medicals by a CO before processing changed. For those of us that front loaded it is a chance we took. Regards Connie Hi we were asked to take medicals last year by CO just 3 weeks before changes and have been asked to do them again. No extension for us :sad:gutted! I bet i'm not half as gutted as geshdan though I can't believe his meds expired yesterday that's just plain cruel! Murky

I see that your medicals have expired. Has your CO not asked you to redo your Medicals and PC? Yes we got a new CO on 9/9 and asked for both PCC's and meds again and have given us 28 days. Just wondered whether further info was with regards to trade again or fanancial status or something else that they have never asked about? Murky

Thanks I was unsure as to whether they had changed anything. i didn't want to re-do meds and stuff, get visa and then be told we only had a few months to get there. I know we have waited 27 months so far, but would we be ready :no: Murky

Hi All Just a couple of questions that i hope somebody can answer? whats the 'further information required on the main applicant'? everything else has been met anyone who has just got 175 visa, how many months have they given you to actually get there is it 12? Thanks Murky :unsure:

Hi All Myself and wifey went to Liverpool yesterday to get a new passport. Needed to get it quite quickly because we have to re-do PCC's and i have to put new passport number on and booked meds again for the 20th so have to show new details again. We spent a fortune on petrol, passport (129.50), the four hours we had to wait for the passport to be ready, so we had to pay for lunch and trudge around the shops in pouring rain and then £10 for parking. All just for passport. So £200 lighter in the pocket and pissed wet through, don't you just love the immigration process. Bring on the meds! Sorry just needed a rant :laugh: Murky

Hi all How do you find out which team your CO is? Just getting together all the paperwork for PCC's ,my 17year old has to have one now as well but has no real proof of address as he has no bills. They have given us 28 days to get PCC's, Medicals and get myself a new passport cos my old one has only a year left on it.:arghh: I can't believe i have to go through all this again! Busy busy murky

Thanks mahattaya This is deja vu though it has all happened before for us. Got CO and did meds and police checks in March 2009 then 3 weeks later priorities changed and we were thrown to the back of the queue. Hope it doesn't happen again I couldn't afford it. So fingers crossed:yes: Mrs Murky

Thanks Alan for saying this there are a lot of 2008 applicants that have waited patiently for a number of years for their application to be dealt with by a CO, but also an increasing number of new applicatants that seem to be spitting their dummies out because thier case hasn't been deallt with within a couple of months. Hi stillwaiting I posted last month i think saying that i looked on the website one morning and clicked on the bottom of the page where it says view status or something and found that the 'no current visa' had disappeared i thought we had the visa on the way but next morning it was put back on. Everyone said that they must have been looking through it. Nothing since.:sad: murky
