Thankyou everyone i didnt think it was fantastic but i still dont know what to do i am a mobile hairdresser myself so i was hopefully going to start that up once we get there but it will take some time to get a client base up again, no we wont have a car we will have to look into getting one wen we get there think we will b bringing 10k with us, but i just wanted to know if we could live off my other halfs job alone as we will have to for a start. sorry to bother people again but my other half will be on $52,300 ish a year, we have to young children that will be in school aswell and are going to near wollongong nsw, looking at rented property of $420 per week , do you think we will be ok? any advise please as i dont know how much bills will cost but wondered if anybody might be in a similar situation to us? thankyou.

Hi everyone so we might be mving near wollongong in june! But the one thing that is puzzling us is what do we do with our savings and how much should we b taking in cash with us on the plane? There is me and the OH and 2 young kids, but what i mean by our savings is we have this money saved and its in our uk bank do we just leave it and get on a plane then go get a bank acount sorted and transfere it over?
