Menuk, mine was labour agreement stream through NSW Health for a nurse and nomination went through in November, and was approved March 6th, nomination and application approved at around the same time so hopefully you won't have much longer to wait

I received grant as email then showed up in immi account a few hours later

Melbkitty, They upload the medicals and they that is usually the last thing the case officer is waiting for before they grant the visa

Shobi777, if you go to immi.gov.au, and then go to help and support and click on contact us, there is a couple of boxes relating to things, tick and another page comes up, scroll down and try to find one similar to what you have applied and then send a contact form to enquire with your visa TRN number if you have it from application and see if you et a response, I did this and that is how I found out at the time my nomination was successfully lodged but not approved.

Visa approved today, here is my timeline Nomination lodged 20th November 2013 Visa application 8th February 2014 Nomination approved 18th February 2014 Visa approved 6th March 2014

My mum had an hour layover and just made the flight and that is with having assistance with the use of a buggy car to get her there

Shobi777, do you not have your nomination approved yet? My case officer for nomination is the same as for application, so if so, try contacting case officer on nomination approval

Having just read a couple of posts, does that mean once case officer requests medical, everything else will be okay? My case officer has requested medical but nothing else

Managed to get a cancellation for medical for Friday morning, got to travel into Sydney whereas Parramatta was on doorstep but feel it will be worth it just to et it done and finished!

Things are now moving for me. Case officer called requesting medicals on 21st February and have 28 days to do it. Unfortunately, medicals proving difficult as have been trying to get one since 8th Feb and only offering appts when working so can't go as I do shifts as a nurse and difficult to swap at last minute. Do you think immigration will extend the time if I tell them as I have been online and phoned medicals every day and they have tried Parramatta and Sydney for me, but nothing as yet

Hi, Have been requested by case officer to attend medical for my 186 visa application. My nearest is Parramatta, does anyone have any experience of this? What do they ask? I know I need a chest xray, blood test for HIV, urine and blood pressure, anything else?

Well, my case officer has emailed to request medicals so decision must be imminent, just waiting for an appointment for medical, hopefully next Friday, not much longer!

My ENS 186 is through labour agreement. Nomination was lodged on 20th November, and approved 18th February through the Parramatta office. I submitted application 8th February, but am about to book medicals ready so hopefully decision will be quicker. There is a case officer on the nomination approval, does anyone know if this is the case officer for application as well?

I submitted my online application on Monday 8th Feb, nomination submitted in November but not approved yet and no case officer. I submitted form 80 the same time as application but went on immiaccount today and a message tells me to organise my form 80, yet I had already submitted it, does anyone know if this is an automated generated message?

Magasela, yes, once nomination is lodged, you can do your application with the trn number your employer has given you.
