Hi there....we had quotes off both company's. We were going to go with Pickfords as they said they have a base in oz so we would be dealing with them throughout. However, Masons gave us the best quote and they were local so we went with them. Another big plus with Masons was that I was able to add things to my list on the day of moving. I booked a 20ft container and filled it as full as possible with no extra charges. They we great, and my things have arrived in Oz safe and sound......nothing broken and nothing missing. It took a little longer than expected to get to us (12 weeks) but that was due to the shipping company here and the busy Christmas period.

Hi there......I had a few quotes and all said that it was ok for me to fill drawers. As for new items I would just remove packaging for less complications Hope this helps Sharon:biggrin:

Hi there....we have booked 3 weeks in a two bedroom property in Kedron (Kedron Cottages). It is a typical Queenslander house near a city bus route, but don't know much more about it. We arrive in 5 weeks time....I can let you know what it is like....if this is of any use to you Sharon:smile:

<p>We are living in Hirwaun at the moment and are making our way to Brisbane....early September hopfully.</p>
<p>We originally wanted to sell our house but have now decided to rent just for financial reasons really. House prices are so low here at the moment and they have risen considerably out in oz. Just hoping things will change in a year or so. Just don't know what to do for the best sometimes</p>

<p>Hi...We are living in Aberdare. Haven't made the move yet. We are waiting for our older daughters to complete the courses they are doing.....should be done by June. We were also waiting to sell our house but have decided to rent it out instead.....makes more sense at the moment (at least until we decide to buy in Oz). We had decided on going in September but are thinking of going sooner. Where are you from? Where are you now x</p>
