One of my friend got 176 (family sponsor) grant today .His timelines are following Applied 12 December 2010 and Medical was requested on 27-Feb-13.(I will confirm when he was allocated CO) Can anyone share the process of visa label stamp on passports now a days.? Thanks, Zahid K.

Will he fall in group 25-32 (30 points ) or in 33-39 (25 points). Thanks for your help ...

George Lombard and Stephen Dickson are really good agents.I communicated with both of them and its difficult to decide between these two. If your field is computer science,I recommend Stephen Dickson as Stephen has strong experience of computer science cases.I also used service of Stephen Dickson for ACS and for state sponsorship of VIC.His service is excellent.I know around 5-6 of my friends used the service of Stephen Dickson and all are happy.All are in Australia now a days

I don't think its something to be worried about. COs don't take these minor issues so seriously.My wife has name with 'i' in his name on birth certificate and on passport that was spelled with 'Y' instead of 'i' .But CO didn't asked about it. We can't be 100% sure as It might be all about luck but I personally think that COs ignores these minor spelling issues.

Good News.Finally got visa grant today.Allah ka shukur hay.I started the process in 2009 (ACS,IELTS,VIC SS etc) and was able to lodged my application in July-2010.Its was very long wait but finally its over now . Thank you all you your support.Usman please update my record in time-line sheet.

I requested the status update from CO as my online medical status is showing finalized from 7th December-2011.I received following reply last Friday.Very disappointing "We are seeking to process your application as soon as possible. You will appreciate however, that all non citizens applying for visas to enter Australia are considered on an individual basis and against all legal requirements set out in Australia's migration legislation. This often includes health, character and national security checks that are undertaken by other agencies; and this can take some time. The timing for the completion of the checks varies from one case to another, depending on individual circumstances. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with a definitive timeframe for finalisation of your application. Rest assured that we will be in touch as soon as we can." Its seems my CO requested my Medical/PCC even my application (security checks etc) was not finalized. After this reply I feel there is long wait ahead.

I am still waiting for grant.I submitted my PCC on 9th December-1011 and my medical is showing finalized from 17-December 2011. I sent mail to my CO yesterday about the status of my case but no reply yet:( PCC/Medical was requested in November-2011.

Correct,I was also asked for form-80 missing information.That were mainly siblings birth city,Nationality etc.And after submitting these info I got medical request next day However,my medical status is finalized from 17 December-2011 and still waiting for good news.Not sure if checks are over or still going on.I hope to get good news soon InshaAllah.

My medical is also showing finalized from 7th December but on document checklist my all documents are showing required (I received medical/pcc request last month).I mailed CO and got reply that application is under routine processing.I thought that if I have received medical/pcc request means that processing is finalized but it seems thats not the case.Not sure how much time this routine processing will take.

I have also sent Medical/PCC. Medical done on 1st December(Online status is showing finalized from 7th December) PCC sent on 10th December. Now waiting for good news.Soon InshaAllah. It seems my CO is also on leave -

Thanks buddy .You are right.I was really worried as after one year CO asked for form80 correction and was thinking now my case will take time.But just after one day of submitting I got this request.Surprised and Happy :)Allah ka shukur hay things are moving.

Hi All, I submitted my form80 in December-2010 and yesterday I have checked with my CO about the status of my case.Today I received the reply.There are few points in reply from CO, which I am worried about. First,the reply was from some other CO .It seems my CO has changed..Is this normal? Second,new CO has told me that there are some information missing from my side in form-80.e.g.Country/province of birth was not mention for siblings(only city was mentioned).He asked me to fill these information and send new form80. My concern is that is my case pending from last December.My security clearance was not started after I submitted my form80 due to this info missing?.And will they start my clearance now? It been already a year Thanks.

Applied 176 on 17-July-2010(VIC SS) CO assigned on 24-Nov-2010 Form-80 Submitted on 20-Dec-2010 Dropped mail to CO in April and she said its in external processing.
