<p>Just read your post about feeling homesick and we too have recently arrived, 7 weeks ago to be precise and the homesickness is starting to kick in, well for me it is anyway, which is just so odd as it was me that always wanted to come to oz!! </p>

<p>We have two children, a girl 15 and boy 11 and although we don't live close to you, we are in Brighton, i would always be up for a coffee, lunch, glass of vino etc etc or if you ever wanted someone to explore with, then that too. I symathise whole heartedly with you about how you are feeling and am sure that once the warmer weather arrives and we make some friends, life here will become more enjoyable and normal. </p>

<p>Just logged in after a few weeks away and saw your messages............</p>

<p>So you have arrived! How are you settling in to your new life? We are coming to Melbourne next week for a reccie, before moving in mid May. I have a few schools and subburbs in mind, but won't know for sure, where we want to be until after our visit and even them I guess we may not be 100% sure!</p>

<p>Things here are moving fast! currently busy dealing with the relocation agent, emailing over all required documents for them to apply for our visas. The shipping firm called yesterday and are coming to assess how much furniture we have to move next week etc. Am feeling both excited and nervous!! </p>

<p>Hubby has to start work in Melbourne on May 24th, so time is going to fly between now and then!!</p>
