Hi . I moved to Traralgon with my Aussie wife and new baby just over a year ago and live in the CBD. We rented for the first year to see if we would settle and have now bought a house and we are quite happy. Indeed it is very different to St Kilda or Port Melbourne and such but it is a country town and not an inner city suburb. Having said that and having grown up in inner city London and having previously lived in Melbourne there is still a fair bit to do here. It is about 2 hours to Melbourne itself and in a good location to go to the snow. Feel free to message me with any questions as a Pom that has settled here. Cheers Jaime
