    hi Ghost, My hubby had a car and 2 motorcycles to import. Unfortunately you are only allowed to import 1 vehicle per person every 5yrs under the personal import schemes. All 3 vehicles were in his name but a few months ago we chose to tfr one of the bikes into my name ( as i have a bike licence) on the log book we just changed the first name and left every detail the same. the log book came back as one owner still and i have been granted permit to import with no problems. Our car and bike is to sail at the weekend, but we are pretty sure there are other ways to import our other bike and we will make enquiries on arrival. One vehicle each applies to the personal import scheme. It is worth a try it has worked for us!

    <p>Things are getting easier and its amazing how quickly life gets back to some kind of normality!! We have our sad times but in a way hubby finds it easy to go now ,as he has lost his best friend and rather than leaving him behind in UK, he now has him in his heart and thoughts wherever he is. We are flying out 13th Nov and staying in holiday home in Mt Coolum so we can explore the area for permanent rental and also look at and enrol kids in school before they break up 10th dec, this way hopefully they will start new term with other kids end of Jan. can't beleive we actually going, it's so long this process, i have to pinch myself sooooo excited. Hope you hear something soon, please let me know as I been following your posts. Last shpping quotes will be in this week and I will post them for others to compare, container to go in 4/6 weeks. It's just mad, sit twiddling your thumbs for years then it's all go </p>

    <p>Sorry can't remember, when did your application get lodged. Spoke to matt on 163 end of Aug lodge, he hasn't had co yet and I'm about 2 weeks behind him 3/9/09. I know you had meds done have you co allocated?</p>

    <p>Visa still a nightmare. Doors closed for us in March until 1st July. They have reached their visa quota. My agent advised they will still process but not validate until new quota. I don't know whether this is true,as I have no CO and not knowing, living in limbo driving me insane.God knows how long the backlog is. Hows your process? What was you lodgement date. Matt on a 163 end of Aug hasn't had co yet and I'm a couple of weeks behind him 3/9/09. have you had a co.</p>

    <p>Hi, is there anyone there who is awaiting business visa 163. SS rec'd June09 visa lodged 3/9/09. Spoke to agent in December who advise that they are still processing June applications. I have also emailed processing centre and they still advise they like to meet their target times of 9 mths, seems like it's going to take longer to me, or do you think once CO allocated it's all pretty quick. This whole process has been nearly 2 yrs!! SS business visa are priority category for processing.</p>
