We just transferred from a 457 to 187 no agent involved it may have taken a bit longer than using agent but it doesn't seem so reading how long it's taken for others. It wasn't difficult just make sure you lodge everything that's listed on the check list.

We sent our application through he Same time that the nomination was sent, as advised by help desk that each was taking a few months so just as well submit ours before Nomination excepted. Nomination acceptance email was received by employer same time that we had email saying our visa's had been granted.

Hi Bong Our 187 was submitted 12th Oct 2012, ack received 11th Nov & still waiting. When I emailed last month the auto reply said they were still processing June's. So we wait.

We have just submitted our 187 application our employer put the nomination in a while ago & still hasn't had a response, we submitted our application a month ago anyway on the advice of immigration dept & have just received confirmation of receipt of a valid application quoted time is still 5 to 7 months and if you call the help desk it states they have real problems with the new system for ENS & RMNS & info will be updated as they have news. I would hold your breath for a quick result, we've been on our 457 for 3 years.

Hi Martin, Debs & Grace. We live in MacArthur and have Brit friends in Gordon, Gowrie, Wanniassa, Monash so us Brits are also spread around the South afraid we don't have kids the the others either have older kids or none at all, but we are always around if you want a night out. Jacqui
