Hi All, Posting after a long time now. I have a query regarding how the Doctors completed the MBBS only without being a specialist, can apply for the Migration to Australia Could anyone confirm which occupation category he/she is going to be entitled from the SOL? What category of visa could be the best applicable for newly passed MBBS doctors? This question may have been asked in other threads, if any one can refer to any thread relevant to this query, please post me the link. Please let me know. Thanks Rubab

Hi, The entry date is exactly the expiration of my PCC. As the PCC was asked last November, I sent it then. I'm from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

At last, I've got the sweetest news yesterday after 8 and a half months wait! My timeline : e_Visa lodged: 23/10/2009 CO mailed: 11/11/2009 Med+Form80+PCC uploaded: 26/11/2009 Meds Finalized: 16/12/2009 All docs Met: 17/05/2010 Visa Granted: 05/07/2010 Initial Entry date: 20/11/2010 Thanks to all who helped me to clear out many confusions from time to time. According to my understanding(if not wrong): the new announcement indicates as follows: Schedule 1 : is for current applicants. Schedule 2: is for Onshore (Mostly skilled graduates) applicants. Schedule 3: is for General skilled independent applicants. Schedule 4 : is for Skilled-Sponsored applicants The last three are for new applicants who will be applying on or after 1st July, 2010. Now the interesting thing is: Both the "Schedule 2" and "Schedule 4" has an occupation "Computer Network and Systems Engineer - 263111" which is closest to 2231-79 Reference :http://www.comlaw.gov.au/ComLaw/legi...le/10026LI.pdf Hope that sheds some light on the hope of IT professionals, specially the network security personnel and Administrators.

What end of this year exactly meant here? Does it mean 31st June 2010 or 31st June 2011? -
Hi all, Will DIAC publish any announcement when Visa quota for the year runs out? Does anyone know if they are left with any quota for this year before July 1st? Thanks, Rubab

My case officer acknowledged the change of document status and told that some internal checks are pending which may take 3-4 months. Is it normal to take this long after all docs are met?
-
Hi all, All of my documents status have changed from "Required" to "Met" suddenly. Is it a good sign. This question may have been asked a number of time before but even then, I would like to know if I can get some relief knowing it. Does anyone know any case rejected after all documents have been changed to status met. Can I now sit back and relax?

My heartiest thanks to all who replied on this issue. Special thanks to Gill and Drifter for having a look on it.

Hi, Can anyone help me with some idea about what routine checks on an application refers to? Coz, I got a reply from my CO that my application will be finalized within 4(anticipated) months after all other routine checks are completed! Does anyone have any idea? My meds are finalized, jobs are inquired ... don't know what's pending! Is it really gonna happen within 4 months? "Gill, your opinion is welcomed here"! Thanks, Rubab

Watch my signature.... I have no idea what I'm stuck with! Meds were finalized long before and job was inquired in Dec .... :frown:
