Returning Resident Visa - Substantial Ties

Hi All, What are possible ways to show substantial ties to Australia to get RRV visa considering one has stayed only 3-4 months in Australia on PR. But stayed 2 years on work visa. Problem is I don't have wife, child, relative, property. What else one could show as substantial ties. The only thing is I am working here from last 2 years. Where can I get more info on showing substantial ties Is there any other way to maintain PR status ? or Is there any other way to get citizenship quickly ? (I know nothing like that but just asking as sometimes you get some clue) Cheers, MA
  2. Hi Friends, I have few question for applying spouse visa Subclass 309/100. I will be applying in Delhi, India, so questions are based on that: 1. Is it recommended to submit medical and PCC when lodging application or should I wait for immigration dept ? 2. Is form 80 required, as per Immigration Dept checklist, they say only if requested by the Department. However, VFS checklist ask for form 80 3. In VFS checklist, they ask for "Details of current professional activity" - what to provide for this ? 4. From whom to certify documents in India, notary ? 5. From whom to witness form 888 ?

    Superannuation - After Permanent Residency

Can I withdraw immediately once I get PR. My thought was you can only withdraw super once you retire or once your 457 visa is canceled. So I though to check can I withdraw once my 457 is canceled automatically as a result of getting PR.

PCC - Less than 12 months stay

Hi All, Happy new year to you all. If anyone can suggest on following: Currently I am working in Australia. I have already applied for 175 visa. I will be applying for PCC. a) Do we need to get PCC from home country as well ? I stayed in home country more than 20yrs b) Do we need to get PCC from country in which I have stayed less than 12months. I stayed for 6month in Singapore. (From diac website I think it is not required, But I would like to confirm if someone know it exactly Note: I lived in both home country and Singapore within last 10yrs. From diac website "For the Australian Government to determine whether you are of good character, you may be asked to provide police certificates for each country you have lived in for 12 months or more over the last ten (10) years since turning 16" Ref: Character Requirement - Applications & Forms

175 Subclass Visa Application - Submission

Dear All, I am in process of submitting my 175 visa online. I started filling details online and had doubts at certain things. These are very basic doubts, but I thought it would be good to ask or double check before submitting my application. My queries are very simple, but it may be difficult to understand what as it is specific to my situation. However, anyone can help me who has already submitted visa application. Currently I am working in Australia on 457 visa. I am in IT. I am not using Agent. 1. "Countries of Residence Provide details of all countries in which you, your spouse/de facto partner or dependents (migrating or not) have lived for 12 months or more (since turning 16) during the last 10 years. The 12 month period of residence may be made up of a number of shorter periods. You must account for every year." I lived in 3 countries a) Home Country - by birth b) Another Country - less than 12 months c) Australia - more than 12 months and currently staying Question: What should I fill in section "Countries of Residence" as shown above. I think Australia, but what should I fill in "Date Till" section as currently I am staying. Should I fill 15-Oct-09. 2. "Applicant skills assessment Date of Skills Assessment - Reference/Receipt number " Question: Which date should I fill, the date on my ACS letter or the date on which I submitted my application to ACS. I think date on ACS letter. Please confirm. And which reference # should I fill, I can see 2 reference # in ACS letter. One says "Our Reference #" and another says "Your Reference #" 3. "Occupation in demand If Yes, has a suitable Australian employer offered you a job in that occupation? " Question: I am currently working in Australia. What should I answer of above question. 4. "Applicant professional year in Australia You may be eligible for points if you have completed a professional year in Australia related to your nominated occupation or a closely related occupation for 12 out of the 48 months immediately before lodging this application. If yes, name of professional year " Question: This one is just to confirm, I am here working from 2008. So, should I fill 2008, 2009. Please confirm. 5. "Details of applicant overseas qualification Specific Dates " Question: Are the exact date important here, I remember only month not dates. Even degree , certificate etc. all have only months detail not date. What should I fill, approx date ? 6. "Details of applicant past employment " Question: What should I fill in "End Date" of current employment as I am currently working. Should I fill 15-Oct-09 ? 7. "Applicant language ability Test Reference #" Question: In my IELTS result, there is no "Test Reference #", I have "Test Report Form Number". What should I fill ? 8. "Designated language points You may be eligible for designated language points. I have completed a qualification equivalent to an Australian degree gained from a university where the language of instruction was in one of Australia's community languages. " Question: I have completed my qualification in English, but I can't see any option of "English". Should I fill language of my home country ? I hope someone will answer my queries which will help me as well as other who will read this and are in process of applying visa. Appreciate your help. And ask me if my queries are not clear. -MA

175 Subclass Visa Application - Submission

Now, after clarifying few questions above, I have doubts in following sequence referencing my 1st post 4. For ACS, I have only submitted months not exact dates. And +ve assessment. I am in MODL+CSL 8. I have studied degree in English, but my home country language is not English. Hope someone will answers. Reader's please advice. Last 3 question before I submit my application

ACS MODL serious query - V.V.V.Imp for me

Dear All, Apology if someone doesn't like me mentioning V.V.V.Imp in subject line. But, this is really very crucial for me. I have submitted my application to ACS with mix of statutory deceleration and employer reference. I am claiming MODL point and I submitted my current employer reference in statutory deceleration like many I don't want my current employer to know about PR and even they willn't give any letter at any cost. ACS is asking for employer letter if I want to claim for MODL point. What should I do now ? Did anyone has seen claiming MODL points on statutory decleration ? Appreciate your help

Applying PR again - Not eligible for RRV

Hi All, Continuing my thread http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/66776-returning-resident-visa-substantial-ties.html , I think willn't be able apply for RRV. It would be a great help if you could share your experience in re-applying PR. In other word, if you had PR and you stayed only 3-4 months on PR. And then after 5-8 year you would like to apply again. Will it create any problem. I understand we don't know what rule might be there after 5-8 years but still we can understand the things as per current rules. Please share your experience and suggest. Cheers, MA

Returning Resident Visa - Substantial Ties

Thanks for sharing your experience. But, still we can plan the things as per current rules. If required, we will re-plan at later stage also. I understand rules will get tougher in future, but I wish if there could be something similar to ATR, I am okay to visit aussie every three years :spinny:
