Hi Andy, Yes they are just transferring our money from UK pensions into the Macquarie Bank. It will be set up as a self managed pension with an ABN number. We can either leave it in there gathering interest or use if to invest into something, a business or real estate as long as we make profit and the money is accounted for at tax time. Do you know anything about these self managed pensions? thanks Karen

Hi all, Just wondered if anyone has heard of the above company? They advertised in our local paper here in Baldivis, near Rockingham. We have signed up to transfer our UK pensions, but noticed today on there web page that they haven't got an Australian Financial Services licence! Should we be worried? Has anyone else used them? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks Karen

Hi, we have to be in Australia by 28th February 2012 to validate our visa's. We are a family of 4, do we all need to go over to validate or can the main applicant validate all 4??? Asking this as still trying to sell the house :arghh:. Thanks Karen

Hi All, Please turn us PURPLE we got our visa granted 18th April 2011 at long last. Now to sell up and hopefully leave end August or beginning of September.

Hiya, we had our medicals done on a Saturday at the Spire Hospital in Brentwood last month. Hope this helps, they can also send them electronically for you. Karen

They forwarded email confirming we have a Case Officer and they are requesting medicals and police checks to be done. TURN US PINK PLEASE

Hiya, we haven't had our meds done yet, but I did contact them a couple of weeks ago to find out the cost. We are also family of 4 and they quoted us £870, which included the courier costs of meds to Australia. Hope this helps, I thought it was going to be more so quite pleased with cost. Karen -
