  1. hi mate im a builder in the uk and if i am correct blue board is probably the same as our cement board. normally ozzie homes are what they call stick and vaneer timber studded walls inside and brick vaneer outside, but cement board homes are timber stud in and out with inulation between and then a cement based or resin based coating applied on the external board, the boards are fully water proofed and are advertised suburged in water so completeley none pouru, and are quite tough they take a fair bit to break and have to be cut to size with a power saw, my personel opinion not as good as brick, hope this helps cheers Andy

  9. Hi Purple that is what i have done started my 175 visa process in feb 2009 then due to losing a few points when they swapped about in mid 2010 i swaped to a 176 SA sponsored visa and managed to finalise everything and applied for it a week before my 45th birthday so just made it. but then i found out how long the wait was for these visas. so took a trip over to australia and found a job and sponsor and are in the process of swapping to a 457 visa as (im told) only take a couple of months to sort, and i am now approching 46 im told that there is no age stop on this visa and when i get the go ahead i can work in australia for 4 years meanwhile my permanent visa process is still in place and should automatically swop from temporary to permanent, but not sure on what armandra as put regarding having to move out of oz while this happens good luck with everything Andy
  10. hi karen (not 100% but here goes) i think if you are applying for a work sponsored visa 475 only you go on a four year temporary visa, which i think because you have a job offer you dont have to tell them of previous income as they know you have funds in place IE: job offer. then you can apply for a permanent visa there after two years which they will use the income from working in autralia, if you apply for a permanent one first which i did then got a sponsor to rush things along then you do need to supply evidence of what income and work you have done over the last three years,, if anyone else knows any more or different i hope they can help us both, good luck Andy
  11. hi there i applied for state sponsor with SA and i took evidence off ebay of what vehicles i had were worth, as i would be selling them to move over, this is one sure income you will be taking with you and YES everything as to be wittnessed by a notary, i took as much evidence as possible with me even a £2000 bundle of cash i borrowed from my dad and some people have been known to borrow from relatives and put in your bank and take bank book to notary as evidence and pay it back once they have guarentted your finance, i went to my solicitor she just stamped the evidence form and signed it and charged me £40,, hope this helps Andy
  12. Hi Claire i build swimming pools in the uk and have a pool at my house in spain. even though your ph is close im supposing around 4/ 5.5 it has to be 7 to 7.5 this can make a difference and same with your chlorine you can bang chlorine in till your eyes burn but if the ph is not bang on you will get algee you may need to put an alkalie in to bring back the waters acidity or if high visa versa.. i buy a 5 in 1 tablet that you are better of sticking in your skimmer this regulates all. if you have a big problem with algee you can get a powder called flock or flockulant sprinkle this all over the top it will sink and take all the algee to the bottom if you have a sump outlet sweep it down, if not hoover it out then completely back wash your filter for a good 5 / 7 minutes it will take about 6 to 8 inches of water out the pool but this is nessecerry also if you sand as been in the filter for over 5 years it could be contaminated and need changing. hope this helps Andy
