    Hi..just Google "Graduate Nursing in WA" and you will get on to the home page which tells you everything you need to know. Applications are closed now for 2013 but you can always e mail them and find out when you can apply next....Good luck!

    Hi I am due to qualify with a Diploma in Nursing in March 2013. I have also been successful in obtaining a place on the Graduate Nurse Programe with WA which starts in August 2013. I approached WA AHPRA office regarding the procedure for registration and they said I could not take up my place as I would not get my registration and would need 12 months post grad experience as I only have a Diploma. It now appears that the hospital who offered me my place are now considering withdrawing it on the basis of what WA AHPRA office are saying. Has anyone managed to get on a Grad Nurse Programe despite having a Diploma and no post grad experience? If I had a degree it would be ok as AHPRA say I would not need post grad experience. Our house is up for sale and we are gearing ourselves for a move down under so the idea of having to stay in the UK for another year to top up to degree is not an option at present. Has anyone had a similar experience or can offer any pearls of wisdom....thanks:biggrin:

    Hi...I have been offfered a place on the Graduate Nurse Programe in WA and now WA AHPRA are saying my Diploma is not enough as I need 12 months post grad experience?? Has anyone else managed to get registered with a Diploma and no post grad experience following an offer of a place on the Grad Program?? thanks

    Just been offered a place on the Graduate Nurse Programe in WA which starts in August 2013. AHPRA now say that as I will only have a Diploma in March 2013 when I qualify I need 12 months post grad experience. Does anyone know if they make an exception to nurses who have a place on the grad programe as I can't seem to get a straight answer from AHPRA!! depending on which state I speak to and I can't see anything on their website that says I need 12 months post grad experience. I have an Australian Permanent Residence 176 visa and am just waiting to go after I qualify....any info or advice from anyone would be great ...thanks

    Hi, I have been shortlisted for an interview by telephone and wondered if anyone has applied for the Graduate Nurse Programme and what the interview was like. My application was very comprehensive with lots of examples of clinical practice experience so not sure what they will ask. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.

    Hi All I am currently in my 2nd year of a Nursing Diploma at Uni and I am looking to apply for the graduate nursing program in either Perth or Adelaide and was hoping someone could give me some advice on the best way to apply etc I graduate in March 2013 but I know I have to apply a year before for a place on the program, any help would be greatly appreciated. I currently hold a 176 Perm Res visa and will be over in Perth in April visiting family so if I need to apply in person I can. I will be moving out to Oz as soon as I qualify which will be April 2013.

    Hi For financial reasons....I receive a bursary for studying at Diploma level which does not have to be re-paid. My university doesn't offer the option of changing from Diploma to Degree so I may have to top up once qualified and working to pay for it.

    Hi Currently at the end of my first year as a Student Nurse studying for the diploma. Hoping to go to Australia to live and work when I qualify but have heard that the diploma may not be recognised anymore and I would need a degree. Could anyone clarify this for me? many thanks...:biggrin:

    Cat 4 ... 2009 ... our migration agent said it could be years before a case officer is assigned. So now we are looking at State Sponsorship..
