  1. Hello Kala, SC189 invites are issued by points score not occupation. Currently DIBP are only inviting with 70 points or more for the SC189 visa. I recommend that you consider state sponsorship - most states are sponsoring Nursing occupations. I hope this helps! Regards
  2. Hi Ras, QLD are only sponsoring your occupation for the SC489 visa and they require a minimum of 5 years work experience. NSW are sponsoring for both the SC190 and SC489 visa. South Australia and Victoria are offering sponsorship for the SC190 visa as well. It is unlikely yo will be invited to apply or a SC189 with 60 points. Regards
  3. Hi Ras, Please let me know the ANZSCO code of your occupation.
  4. Hello Irqa, Secondary applicants can prove their English by any of the ways in the attached document. Regards Functional English.pdf
  5. Hello Jincy, Electrical Engineers are not currently on the 'Pro rata' list. In the 18th October invite round (the last round that DIBP have published results for) DIBP invited SC189 EOI's with 65 points that were submitted on the 28th Sept (about a 3 week queue). Barring any other changes I would say there is a good chance you could get an invite for a SC189 visa. Regards
  6. Hello Anna, It seems a lot of SC489's submitted in August have been granted recently so hopefully you don't have too long to wait! Regards
  7. Hello Ras, As I am sure you know nurses are broken down into their specialisations and the state invite according to the specialisation. Let me know exactly what occupation you have been assessed as and I will let you know what states are sponsoring. Regards
  8. Hello Mohamed, The reference number required is at the top left of the Skills Assessment Outcome letter (EA ID). I hope this helps. Regards

  10. Hi Rocco, Depending on the trade your husband works in a formal qualification may not be required. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to have a look at his options. Regards
  11. Hello Ronaldo, The last thing you want is for DIBP to think you are attempting to hide anything from them. Regards
  12. Hello D sidhu, Most management occupations need at least a degree level qualification for a positive skills assessment unless you are working at the highest level of management in a company. I suggest you have a look here or here. Regards
  13. Hello There, Not quite sure what you are asking as it sounds like you have already been invited to apply for a visa? Once you have been invited your points are irrelevant (as long as you can provide the required proof to support them). Regards
  14. Hello Ronaldo, It would be better to declare this as a visa refusal is seen as 'being excluded from a country'. Regards
  15. Hello Brian, I can confirm that the applicant will need to complete a Form 80 and I recommend you supply at least 4 Form888's. Please note the Form888's can be completed by anyone not just Australian Citizens. Regards
  16. Hello Ugr, No problem. The screenshot above refers to the Family sponsored SC489 visas not the State sponsored SC489 visas. Regards
  17. Hello Ugr, The SC489 state sponsored visa does not follow the same invite process as a SC189 visa. Once you have secured sponsorship from a state or territory government you will immediately be invited to apply for the SC489 visa. I hope this helps!
  18. Hello Ronaldo, If you have noticed errors on your Form80 then you should upload a corrected form and use the area in Part T to explain what happened. Regards
  19. Hello Abhi, It seems that there is a lot that you are not sure of. In this case perhaps you should seek professional advice? Regards
  20. Hello Andy, You will have a Condition 8539 on your SC489 visa. The PAMS for this condition state: The key to determining whether a visa holder is working in a specified regional area is assessing where the applicant’s usual place of work is located. If an applicant’s place of work is in a specified regional area but their employer is based elsewhere in Australia or overseas, they are considered to be working in a specified regional area. I hope this clarifies your situation. Regards
  21. Hello Joe, No problem. Clear colour documents are fine. There is a list of documents required on your immi account. Regards
  22. Hello There, All you will need to do is meet the health and Character requirements, prove your relationship to the primary applicant ( if you are not married then you will need to provide proof of living together for at least 12 months). If you have a UK, Irish, USA, Canadian or NZ passport then you will not need to prove your English skills. I hope this helps! Regards
