LOL........i've just done that!!! On the left hand side of a 'post' is the box where your ID stuff is. At the bottom is a little yellow ball with red legs........that's a chicken.....mmmm I know?!! You have to be on the persons whose reputation you want to add too. Click the chick and a box opens below, says something like add to this persons reputation blah blah and you can also put a little comment too! Hope this helps?! debsx

Hi Southernagent, we did our police checks & meds 2 weeks back, and after all the news of this week, we haven't once regretted getting them done, maybe a little bit early?....but what the heck.......we're gonna carry being proactive throughout these difficult times. Hi everyone!! What a bl--dy week!! We,re still trying to understand how it,s going to affect us time-wise? Ourselves,we got state-sponsorship at the end of August,had meds done(2 adults,2 kids) and sent off for police checks almost straight away.We are hopeing to go to Brisbane around July time next year after our eldest lad has done his G.C.S.E,s. I am still hopefull of getting a case officer and hopefully visa granted by then but we,ll have to sit tight and wait and see. Also we move to our rented house on the 3rd Oct having sold ours,(Boxes everywhere!!) stressed out or what!!! But on a more POSITIVE note I spoke to our agent on Thurs morn(Go Mat) about how it will affect our visa processing times but she thinks the 2012 time frame that has been quoted for group-5 catagories as ridicoulous!! and also that the DIAC had just contacted herself an hour earlier about a client who was in the group 4 catogory,2 days after the new lists were published!!! I,m sure they will get round sooner than later to look at the group-5 catagories,especially as there,s only 41 jobs on the C.S.L list!! Anyway,as Bon Jovi says 'Keep the Faith'everyone!! Wow it's certainley been busy on here!!!! CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who's recently got their SS........sorry but we've lost track over the past few days!!! just getting back into the routine after our hols! We have our meds tommorrow and sign the contract for our house sale too........more stressssssssssss lol will it ever end? Again many congrats to all and fingers crossed for all of you still waiting xx

Hi all just to give you an idea how long the post takes from Qld to Uk. We received an email from our agent on 2nd Sept to say we had recvd SS. Agent emailed us a copy of the letter she recvd from Qld dated 28th August. Today 7th Sept we recevd our letter from Qld also dated 28th August so it took a good 10 days to reach us!! Fingers crossed for you all this week I reckon there's a few wingin' their way here right now!!

Was startin to think Qld had missed us out lol We are on our hols and just checked emails via the moby. Sorry can't do big bold all singin all dancin letters on the moby but basically, WE'VE ONLY GONE N GOT IT!!!!! No further docs requested, all were sent with origional application except funds which were sent later. Seems as if qld are on a roll now good luck to everyone it's worth the wait! We can start to enjoy our hol now shame we go home on friday

at what point do you put your house on the market?

We applied for QLD SS in March 09 and put our house up for sale in May 09. 18 weeks down the line we still haven't got our SS but our house sold a couple of weeks back....yey!! We gave ourselves a year to sell the house, as we hope to move to Oz summer 2010, but it sold a lot quicker than we thought!.........so now we will be moving into a rental property, with a massive double garage to store all our stuff in. God forbid if the unthinkable happened ie no SS or worse still no visa..........then our plan has always been that we would be moving house in a year or so's time anyway. -
No news from Qld....but our house sold this weekend...aarrgghhhhh.....more stress:arghh:

We've hit 12 weeks today and still no requests for further docs. Our agent rang Qld and confirmed the same amount as quoted in Allen Collet's news post 'around A$20-A$30k per main applicant and A$10k for each additional applicant' So we'd be looking around funds of approx £25-30k (A$50-60k) that's 2 adults 2 kids :frown: Sitting tight at the mo and waiting to be asked for the proof :arghh:

Hi Bonytony welcome to PIO! I helped other half with his TRA and I remember including stuff like Machine centres worked on Bridgeport etc Control systems Fanuc Heidenhein whatever Materials used titanium stainless you know the stuff Work produced for Rolls Royce and stuff like aerospace, automotive, packaging industries etc All stuff that may seem really basic to you like being able to read drawings/designs etc. Think most of it fitted into the spaces on the application then we just included work references from 2 employers, certificates (which we had to re order from city and guilds approx £35 each!!), LOADS of photos! and I think that was about it?!! Hi all, we are new to Poms in Oz! Briefly we are a family of 4 hoping to be in Oz July 2010. We've done the TRA bit. Applied for State Sponsorship and are now waiting!!!!....not sure what for though lol :smile: At present we are in Derby UK and hope to be moving to Qld where we have friends. debs:hug:dave

What a week!!! we are hoping to head to south of Brisbane, Coomera Oxenford Helensvale area were we have friends!!
