Aiming to come over end August :cool: OH was going on a reccie in June, but he's now cancelled that flight, so instead we'll all be coming over........:biggrin: We're keeping the house, 'cos we only just bought it.......got the keys to it on Mon 22nd Feb got CO Friday 26th Feb got visa 1st March!!! debsxx

You echo my sentiments exactly!!..............even down to the sleepless nights, I've slept like a baby this week :SLEEP: Still to book flights etc, but we are aiming to go end Aug. Well I'm sure if the doubts and nerves kickin at some stage, you'll be totally prepared for them and understand that they'll be all part and parcel of this amazing roller coaster ride called Emigrating to Oz!! Cheers Lesley x Yep!! We've both been to work as per norm, me doin days and Dave doin' the night shift!! We shall catch up with each other at the weekend, when we end up workin' on the house we just bought 'cos we thought we'd be waiting till God knows when for the visa!! Happy days!!! Lolol Work seems a breeze this week.....knowing we'll be handing our notices in soon feels goooood! Debsx:biggrin:

YES IT'S TRUE!!!:biglaugh: Up at stupid o'clock checking emails and there's only an email from our agent!!!!!! Hi David, Thanks for your email, which was very timely: I have today received notification from DIAC that your visas have been granted. Congratulations! We emailed her yesterday as all our docs changed to MET on Friday 26th 2010 so that looked promising..............NOWAY! did we think we'd get a visa grant so soon!!! It's dated 1st March 2010!!! Thanks to everyone for all their support and advice and to our agents Go Matilda! We have to enter Oz before Sept 24th 2010!! Wishing everyone around us much luck, it will happen soon, sit tight and keep the faith!! debs dave n the boyz xxxxx:jiggy:

What a day!! thankyou all for your kind words........sit tight your time will come. We didn't see this coming, we bought a house last week!!!! Hi Violet S Yes we did frontload our pccs and meds without being asked. We felt we were so close at the time to getting a CO so we took a chance!!! Thankyou for kind words debsx -

I know he's so damn dedicated!! We both rang work today to let them know our visa had been granted but that we wouldn't be leaving for afew months :goofy: We hope to leave begining Sept. Dave had a reccie booked for June and he is hoping to be able to change is flight to Sept. Our meds and PCs we did before the changes, it was early Sept just after we got our QLD SS. debsxx -

Hi peeps! thanks for all your congratulations today...we really are still in shock about gettiing our visa grant. Just to let you know we are LR and we did upload our PCs and Meds without being asked to...........when Sept 23rd happened we just knew we were within a gnats whisker of getting a CO so we thought what the heck lets do them!! Incidently our initial entry date is Sept 24th 2010. Thanks again and can I just say this thread and Qld SS thread by Taz......God bless her....has kept us sane over the past 8 months..............vickymels updates have also been invaluable, they were just like waiting for your favourite magazine subscription to drop on you door mat every month.....you know that excitement when you see it lying there lol...thankyou sooooo much x debsxxx and dave but he's asleep...getting ready for his night shift....... boooooo! but not for much longer hooorayyyy! xxxx -

Thanks! Yep!!! we didn't even know we had one! Checked online status last night and surprisingly everything had changed to MET Friday 26 feb........then this morning VISA GRANTED Monday 1st March!! -

BILL ER BONG It looks like someone has defo looked at you file to me! Our application changed to BEING PROCESSED FURTHER on 11/12/09 Last Friday 26/02/10 all our outstanding documents changed to 'MET' We didn't have a case officer prior to Sept 23rd, we are Cat 5 Non CSL. debsx

Both ours were about one and half pages A4, been together for 24 years aswell!.... not sure if that's good or bad lol Our agent was happy with what we submitted.
