lol were on our 6th year next month. Time flies! I would love acreage but I am too scared because of snakes! My dogs would get themselves killed they love the aussie wildlife. I have a pomeranian who is addicted to toad lol...Cant let her out once it goes dark lol x

One of the little girls in my daughters class lives out in greenbank and I was stumped at the size of the properties out there! You certainly get more for your money. They have to adhere to school colours even for hair ties. The only rule they have that I have not seen enforced is that they say no 'rats tails' yet there are plenty of mouri(sp?) boys with them but still they all have the correct uniform! The one with the skywalk? Think its the district park? If so yes. My little toddler gives me a heart attack climbing upto the top lol. We would live to live in stretton but it is so expensive! They take great pride in the school and their reputation which is something other schools should take on board. Were lucky to be in catchment as they are very strict and it changed mid last year. We are in Berrinba just off logan highway fortunately they honored the catchment for 2013. Looking at moving to Calamvale sept...want to walk the kids to school not drive! Costing me a fortune in fuel every week lol ​

Hi. ​I haven't read the other replies but i would definitely avoid creastmead. If you want the southside look into south brissy and avoid logan. Whilst logan does have good areas (we are in logan and its a lovely estate with a lake and lovely neighbours we have had so much crime on the estate because of neighbouring shitty subburbs and the council are constantly down recovering graffiti on our back fence and even on our wheelie bin!) Head for Calamvale / Drewale (brissy side) / algester and parkinson. Stretton State College is a great state school and it reminds me alot of pome schools lots of self respect and many of my teacher friends want their kids to go there. My daughter attends and I'm happy so far (she started prep Jan) All the best with your move.
