Hi guys, I have a quick question. We applied for PR subclass 100 visa after my partner completed their 2 years on temp visa in Australia. We have received an email now asking to upload all the documents as our application is about to be allocated. My question is do I (the sponsor) need to obtain police clearance certificate as well? The email we received asked for a police clearance certificate from AFP for my partner not me. But I have found on the internet that sponsor needs to provide one as well. Is that true? I have received the visa. Thanks God. But we are moving to USA where my husband is currently living for work reasons. My question is do I have live in Australia to get the PR since this is a temporary visa. I was thinking to just visit Australia for a few days to activate the visa and then go to US.

Hi guys, I have received an email for further details for my visa. Additional evidence of contact/relationship with your sponsor (eg. letters with original envelopes, emails, recent telephone bills with call details, pre-wedding photographs, post-wedding photographs from outings/family gatherings, money transfers, evidence of cohabitation etc). My husband lives in Australia so we don't have much co habitating record. Please advise how should I respond? Thanks for an urgent reply.

Do I need a return ticket or single way ticket is enough for visit to Australia. I was thinking of getting a one way for the moment and then get a ticket to return home when my migrant visa is approved.

Hi Aussie Girl, My husband is applying for my visit visa from Australia. He will sponsor me and provide the bond if required. My question is, do I need to tell the Islamabad embassy that I am traveling to Australia so please ask me before issuing me the offshore visa or they will check and find out before issuing the visa themself? I don't want to be in a situation where they issue me the visa and I am already onshore. Can someone please guide me?

I am in a similar situation, kind of. I was asked for medicals immediately with the ack letter. Its been 1.5 months since we submitted medicals and no reply since. Can someone please comment on it? Are they asking for medicals immediately now? And how is that difference then previous process?

hi, how can I get email of my CO. The ack letter that I received just had the name of the CO and no phone/email. I tried sending email to embassy but CO did not reply and some other lady replied which I don't think is CO. She is just a customer service girl. Also tried calling the embassy but could not talk to CO. The receptionist received the call. How do you guys talk to your CO.

My husband's company is sending him to US for a few months while my visa is in process. He is an Australian citizen and living there for 6 years now. How does that affect me if he is not in Australia while my visa is in process?

I sent an email to AHC ISB regarding acknowledgement letter and they have replied the next day and attached acknowledgement letter with their email reply. My application has been accepted as a valid application for processing and they are giving approx. 12 months for processing. Isn't that too long? The good news is that they have asked for medicals as well.

Anyone knows the number of Aus High Commission in Isb? I have applied for partner visa and now want to track it. I have not received any acknowledgement yet. I see people getting acknowledgement within a few days. What kind of ack should I expect? I need this so my husband can apply visit visa in Australia. Thanks
