Hi Chloe, yes they are on holiday till February. My children are girl nearly 8 and boy nearly 6. I don't think there are school fees as such. My friends daughter attends that school and she is given a list of things to buy before the start of term. It is a lovely place, you will like living there. Keep in touch and I will let you know wht it is like when we get there. Donna

Hi We are moving to Halls Head in Feb 13, and emailed Halls Head Primary and the Principle replied back. Not at lot of information really, he just said come and see him when we arrive. I was asking mainly about special needs. How old are your children? Donna

Hi Our container was packed on Wednesday, it is due to leave next wed 16.1.13 and was told it will get to Fremantle 10.3.13. Probably get it 10 days later. We fly out 11.2.13 got somewhere to stay for 1 month, so hopefully only be without our stuff for about 2 weeks. We used Crown, fellas were great, the only problem, they were keen to get finished as they only had 2 days to do it and that included a 2 hr journey each way. They packed my children's uniforms, my work clothes and a few items I was keeping. I did say hey we're not going but they forgot. So please do remove ALL items not going. I thought telling them that was enough. Apart from that very pleased. Could not fit my 3 seater seetee in but we did have a lot of stuff and 2 living room suites. Oh forgot, we got a call the week before saying freight costs had gone up and it was going to cost £200.00 more, could not do anything about it at that point. Probably wont effect anyone getting new quote as it will be included.

Thanks, can't wait. When when we were there last year, got Chinese (can't remember from where) it was bland. I will enjoy experimenting different places.

That is great to know about Indian & Chinese as we are moving to Mandurah next month, and we all love curry's, but my little girl loves Chinese. I was thinking I will have to start making my own. :cry: Not good.

Surely you should have heard by now. Have you contacted them, my friend got left hanging until she contacted them, they processed her straight away, she got her visa last year from 2009. Send them an email. P

We were told that goose feather were fine but duck were not. If they come through the material they can't go. Apparently goose dont come through. All mine are duck. Don't know if this is correct.

Hi We have just received a call from our shipping company saying that from 1st January the frieght company have put the cost up by £202.00, and they have to pass the extra cost on to us, and to see if we still want to go ahead with them. They are saying it is across the board with all companies doing he same. We are stuck really and have to accept it, as they are coming next week, and we have to be out of my house the week later. Talk about having you by the short and curlys :cry: Has anyone else being advised about this. thanks Donna :wink:

I am glad Mandurah has one, we saw Sleeping Beauty in Liverpool on Friday and was wondering if it was the last one the kids would go to. They are a little naff, but kids love them.

Hi we climbed Sydney harbour bridge as it was going dark, the views were amazing. I did not whilst climbing that I was 3 1/2 months pregnant, not the best idea. Glad I did not know, otherwise I would not have been allowed. If I went back to Sydney I would love to do it again. :xmas1:

Hi We have sold our house, it sold in 5 days, 1 viewing. They had no chain so we were very lucky. Got a bit less than what we thought it was worth, but zoopla and is comparison of the area did not help. We could have waited to see if any higher offers, but they all could be the same. We complete in 3 weeks and finally fly out beginning of feb. can't wait. :xmas25: Donna

I had that dream, thinking someone will want this house as soon as they saw it. We put our house on the market on the Monday, someone turned up on our door the wed eve wanting to come and look, booked them for Friday, and hey pesto, they loved it, they offered the asking price, so we sold it in 5 days, so my dream did come true. Lol it can happen. Keep faith. Xxx :biggrin:
