Has anyone applied for return of AOS Parent CPV Bond, if so how long does it take to receive the money

You are right AJ, the ABN made the difference but if I didn't have one I would not be employed. Answer is have no ABN and work cash in hand - no worries but that is not where we find ourselves.

Hi Amdaloia, It went like this .... we are CPV poms but having paid the Australian government approx $100,000 to join or children we couldn't afford to live. So I applied for an ABN number to get a cleaning job. I still didn't earn enough to pay tax so the account said I did'nt to enter a tax return. 2 years later I get a fine notice of $1250 because they did a research of people with ABN numbers who had lodged a tax return. Bingo "in the ****"} as we say. Still arguing the case but the point is have someone working for you who understands the system.

Short answer yes, cos I have just been slapped with a $550 per year fine because I didn't enter one ( and that was on the advice of an accountant!!!!!). I was below the level of income where you pay tax. My advice get some expert help cos I am still trying to sort out my mess.
