    You have been granted the visa already and there are plenty of people who have came to Australia and changed their type of employment. I know many people who have come here on a 189 and a 175 and are not working in their skill. Dont worry about it, no need for DIAC to know as they have already granted your visa. Cheers, John

    Hi, I think you may find that the bank you dealt with is being over cautious. There are many more financial institutions around rather than the banks who would be happy to advise. I am a permanent resident and found that once I had credit ( car loan ) then I was being offered anything I wanted. If you want any info about talking to someone regarding finance for a home then please PM me. Hope this helps. John

    Hi Woodster, I have been out here for about 2 and a half years and rented a few properties. You can get short term contents insurance, but you can also take out a permanent policy and just notify the insurers of change of address. Try Budget Direct, they are quite good. Hope this helps. J

    <p>Hi Lorraine, Just checked our status but its not changed yet. The doctor told us to expect it after Easter. What is your Mum's name? I might know her as this is quite a small place. We decided to do our medicals early as there is now only one place in Scotland where you can get them done. I hope it speeds things up. We would like to be there for about August time. Where are you heading to? We are heading to Perth.</p>

    <p>Hi john, we did our medicals same day as you, have you checked on line at diac?? I checked yest and all says meds finalised etc, I didn't realise it went onto application so quick!! Here's hopin this will help our applications get looked at quicker hey!!?? The reason why I messagin you though was cos noticed you are from kirriemuir and my mum lives there!!
