Hi Guys, could anyone please answer this for us, we are awaiting our Visa to be granted, the final part is proving travel/health insurance. I have a gold credit card which as part of the benefits entitles us to 31 day free travel insurance, i am awaiting a personalised copy of my policy, would this satisfy the DIAC??????

we are moving to sydney the first week in march and are finding it really difficult to find value for money rental properties close to the centre of sydney. Our aim is to leave furniture etc here in the UK is it possible in sydney to get a furnished rental?

Could somebody please clarify, our visa is in the process of being processed and on the request form for information it is only asking my wife to undergo a health assessment with a panel doctor!!!! could this be right? she is a midwife and has a post to start straight away and the visa is lodged in her name, i am a nurse and currently do not have employment but i do have my APHRA. Is it right that its only her? I hope so. Cheers Jim

mornin all, :chatterbox: phoned AHPRA this morning and have been informed that i have beeen allocated a case oficer but she is on holiday for a week, just wondering guys if anybody else has been allocated a case officer and the process of events that will happen next, so as we can try and be one step ahead. Case officer is called Olive anybody else have her? Whats she like? This is all doin my head in. :arghh: Any info would be great. Cheers jim :daydreaming:

hi gang, could anybody please help, i am about to apply for registration in Vic, but am having difficulty in finding out (or understanding website) on registration fees, i have seen that as an overseas nurse i have to send $220 but cant see what else i have to pay for... Any newly applied nuses could you please give me an idea.... Much appreciated. Jim
