  1. Hi Andy I have a 175 visa which expires on Tuesday and have no intention of returning to live in Australia. There is over $3000 in my super. Does this mean that I cannot withdraw my super even though it is decreasing annually with all the charges. I would have to apply for a RRV visa to return and would be unlikely to get one anyway. Seems awful that my funds will just diminish annually.
  2. Thanks for that - in fact it is the same in Scotland i.e four year degree course unlike the english three.
  3. Hi there. Just been looking at entry requirements for University in Victoria using Scottish qualifications. Notice that they ask for three highers now rather than four. (My son has done four and is studying for another 2 plus an advanced higher). Why is the entry requirement so low in Oz - is it because the Scottish courses are more intense than year 12. Just wondering?
  4. Lovely post and well done for being so organised. We lived in Mornington - Mount Martha is a beautiful place and Mornington is so handy being just up the road. I miss the beach. Enjoy every minute and take a trip down to Sorrento, another fantastic place. Enjoy xx
  5. Ah yes, i remember now. Sadly, we only stayed a year, how I wish we had stayed longer. Would love to return to get citizenship if nothing else. However, with the downturn in the £ think it would be financial suicide for us.
  6. Hi there, I am interested to read your post as we are in a similar situation. Left OZ, still have PR. Have thought about returning for three years to get citizenship but just wonder what you mean about staying for 3 months to get RRV. Just out of interest, how long does the RRV last? Good luck with your decision, I understand the dilemma.
