  5. Hi Iron Chef, I know you are the man that could possibly help me on this one! Hubby has a KTM 4T exc Motorbike (2005) and wants to ship it, any ideas on what we need to do and how much this is going to cost?? Do we have to apply for an import licence like a car? It will fit in the container and have owned it for over 12 months.

  8. Hiya Yet another question from me! I have am buying an audi to bring when we move in 2 years, now do the clocks need to be changed into KM's instead of Miles? And Mr Iron Chef, When I have all the details of this said car will you be able to point me in the right direction of how much it is all going to cost to ship to Oz including GST etc etc. I have found a company that will ship roll on roll off, but they only supply the shipping costs not what its going to cost me in taxes etc. ????? Many thanks You are a very useful and knowledgable chap and I hope you are very proud of your knowledge and are helping so many people!!
  9. Can't quite afford a v10 version but looking at a 2003/2004 model! Is it worth bringing? And if I could get an s4 cabriolet we should be on a winner then???
  10. What sort of resale value would an Audi rs6 be out there! Would it be something the Australians would go for?! Is it a rare car? We r looking at buying an Audi I bring with us in a couple of years time and wondered what was the best! I would like an Audi cabriolet a4 but hubby wants an rs6 or even both?!
  11. hello there I am not on th gold coast at the moment but wanted to say hello. WE lived on the Gold Coast for a year and came back to UK in 2008 (biggest mistake of our lives) we are now sorting ourselves out to come back. Have decided that our deadline date will be september 2013 Our daughter is 4 and will be starting UK school this year. we didnt want to come any earlier as we didnt want to take her out of school and back into kindy or day care! We still have loads to sort out but we know what to expect when we get there. So excited Its going to be so hard getting through the next year and 9 months! but we have to get it right this time. We are going to be heading to Arundel on the Gold Coast so may see you there in a couple of years!!!

Perm Resident am I still allowed

Hi all Just wanted to know if anyone would know if I was granted a perm resident after being on a temp spouce visa am I still entitled to live in australia with my aussie daughter if my husband and I split up??
  14. Hi there We will be on the gold coast in a couple of years time. My hubby was born out there and his parents were £10 poms!!! he came back when he was 3 but we moved out there in 2006 and came back to UK in 2008 when my daughter was 1 as we really missed the family. Times have moved on and we are planning on coming back as soon as we can save up and sort out our cars (takes 12 months to import) Our daughter is now nearly 4 and we are all keen to make this time work, so getting some good friends is going to help. We will be aiming for Arundel area. If your still about we can arrange an Aussie/Pom get together!
