<p>I spoke to my parents last week and they said pretty much the same. they've used their garden furniture for about 2 weeks out of the last 2 years! At least when they visit us at xmas they'll be guaranteed some hot weather.</p>

<p>Have you been to Oz before? We were lucky to have the opportunity to go travelling a couple of years ago and decided that Oz was for us. Been here 3 months on a student visa (retraining as a bricklayer) and life is fantastic. We don't have kids, just act like them!</p>

<p>There's loads of work out here for everyone cos the Aussies are lazier than the Brits. Get yourself a good bbq as well cos we are using ours quite alot, and them steaks tasta a hell of a lot better!</p>

<p>Pellon eh, what part of Oz are you moving to? The weather here in Melbourne is fantastic (1st week of spring). Yesterday it was around 22, felt like high 20's and today is a belter as well. Just on our way into CBD to have a Saturday afternoon sesh down the Docklands. Not making you jealous am I?</p>

<p>Started out up Ovenden for 8 years, and after that spent the rest of my time in Savile Park and recently rented an apartment at the former Royal Infirmary. </p>

<p>So far we are loving Melbourne and have no intention of returning to the UK (except for hols) and we certainly wouldn't move back to Sadfax.</p>
