Hi All, We have lived in Australia for 7 and a bit years now and love it. Our adult son (who wasn't on the our original visa) and his girlfriend want to move out here now too. Our question is, can we sponsor him and what visa (if any) does he have to apply for? They don't have a skill at the moment, but they are willing to study. Can anyone help us out? Hi, We have just had the most terrible news from England (we live in Melbourne) and need to travel back. My husband and I have valid passports, but our daughter's passport has run out. Can anyone tell me if it's possible we can get our daughter's passport renewed for emergency travel and how we go about it please? We would need to travel within a week! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Kent

He is a scaffolder, although he hasn't worked in that field for a couple of years! Not sure of his qualifications - will have to talk to him about it. Thanks for your help. Julia

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help out. My Son (21) lives in England and wants to move out to live with us in Melbourne. We are permanent residents. My son's profession isn't on the list of wanted professions so that is a non-starter. We are willing to sponsor him, but the Visa that is suggested by the Immigration "find a visa" section is a Child 101, for this he has to be dependant on us financially (he lives with his Dad in the UK), he has job and isn't dependant on us at the moment. He probably will be once he gets here!! So after all that, my question is does anyone know which visa we can get him over here on? Thanks Julia
