Hi, Mcdowell Eatons Hill and Albany Creek are all good suburbs with good State Schools, to my knowledge there is no cafe scene on the north side of Brisbane although there are westfield shopping centres at North Lakes Chermside and Strathpine which are all within 30 mins of the suburbs I mentioned.
