Hi I am a RICS Surveyor setting up my own practice in Victoria and I am doing a bit of market research. Currently in Aus the vast majority of people purchase their house (either auction or private sale) without a building survey or inspection. This is pretty much like playing Russian roulette with the biggest investment you will ever make! I was wondering how many people from the UK would consider instructing a building survey and how many would be happy proceeding without one? Cheers all J
