Lots, on decent wages. Tourism is pretty low on the salary scale and yes, there are jobs in alternative energy coming through but not in any number or reliability yet. There will be more but again wages will be pretty low.

Remember back in the 70s when it was predicted we'd reached peak oil & gas production and it was going to run out. Then they started fracking.

Then we got the Nomination Refusal in December 2017, VISA Refusal in February 2018. Applied for AAT in Jan n Feb 2018 (Nomination and Visa). AAT requested more documents in March 2019

Giving up hope for partner 309 Visa

Alice123456.. I feel your pain and I'm in same shoes as you. Been waiting for 21 months and not a single word on my application. I have all together given up and only just tendered my resignation today and our home listed for sale with the intention of moving to be with my partner and just get on with our lives. We are at wits end and simply cannot take it any longer. I hope it works out okay for you and this somehow gives you a slight hope you're not alone but for me I'm simply done and time to move on from my dear country Australia and live my life. Stay strong and wish you the best.

    Exception Basis

The skills assessment is one of the main criteria for a Direct Entry application. That is not a slight error, that is a major issue as it does not meet the Regulations.

Problem is when I click to pay it leads nowhere to my "Manage Payments" page, and there is nothing there. Front page of immi account says that below, so I am confuse. I am just wondering if anyone has experienced the same. Action Required flag still showing: Please disregard the action required flag if you have already provided the following information and it is still showing as required on your application summary page: Health Assessment Character assessment Biometrics Additional payment requirement This is a known system issue that is currently being investigated by technical teams.

I do think it depends on the job and the role but to put it into perspective I work for a large engineering consultant that doesn’t pay very well and our graduates start circa $62000 plus super.

@Chelsea98 I think you have a few questions here, so i'll try answer where I can; 1 - "...been asked to fill up a form 80 but I don’t have enough details about past employer and some of them already closed down as well and even with my education history..." Once this is requested from a CO, it's typically important to the case and all effort would need to be shown in case of "company being closed" or "school closed". My thoughts are that you would need to do your best effort in completing this form with regard to these questions, then I (personally) would get police affidavits on closure of school / work places. 2 - "How important is that..." - If a form 80 is passed into an application without being requested, it may and may not be used in the application process. However, if (like in your case) - the form has been requested from your CO, then it's vital in the process (per my understanding). There have been applications refused on character checks and / or history details not being in order. - I personally was asked to update my form as I only had 9 years living addresses and not 10 (all that for 1 year). 3 - "...I also need to do ta statutory declaration as I had criminal offence which is drunk driving..." - Unfortunately, I cannot comment or offer advise on this, however, there are numerous posts (you'd need to trawl through previous pages) from people that have had similar questions. You could either take their advise, or post to them on this form for assistance. Regardless, I wouldn't risk bad data on a form 80, especially being asked for it. - Rather be safe and provide too much information, than sorry. Good luck!
