Single person move to NT ....

I will write about my experience living in Darwin in a few days. Hopefully it will be helpful for some.
  3. Hi everyone I have worked under 187 visa for a large company over a year. Due to career progression, i want to relocate to a bigger city within the same organisation. I have good relationship with CEO whom is a friend. Does this violate the 2 year restriction? The visa rule only says 2 years of employment with the same sponsoring company, and it does not mention geographical restriction. Another way to view this through "genuine effort" test which says if employee stayed over 1 year, he/she can make strong case as genuine effort, given I am still working for the same company as same role. I think this would make a good "genuine effort". Please correct me if I am wrong. I don't want to lose my PR because of urge to move out of regional city. Thanks in advance!

Christian Brothers (Australia) may be going broke

Now the hypocritical SJWs are here continuing to attack Christians. On this thread, they implying that all Catholics are evil child molestors. The clown-show continues.
  5. Hi, I am an Australian citizen. Can I sponsor my brother-in-law to visit Australia for three months under visitor visa (Subclass 600)?

Based on Parley’s response, the God botherer theory is that the age of consent will be somehow moved forward or set a precedent to be moved to a younger age, if kids are given an education so they know what’s what, what’s not and how to protect themselves emotionally and physically. This will keep them ‘innocent’. Ignorance is innocence. So far better to have their innocence destroyed, with kids led like unsuspecting lambs to slaughter, by bullies, sex traffickers, peados and porn than protect their innocence by letting them know , what is legally acceptable in society and what is not. That is some real mental gymnastics going on to justify child physical and mental abuse, and real loss of innocence as ok (and worth it), to protect a fantasy notion of ‘innocence’. Wow.

Nobody has any idea unfortunately. There have been quite a few s56 processed at the 4 to 6 weeks area, so hopefully you are in that group.

    Need Help!!!186 visa

It appears "your friend" has made a mistake fatal to the application and would be well advised to seek professional assistance.

    189 Visa - Parents

This was possible in the past if there was only one parent. A change to the definition of "member of family unit" a while back, means this is no longer possible.

I live in Darwin, and know several doctors and nurses at the RDH. The state of health care in the Darwin-Palmerston region is a mess only getting worse.

    The (all new) Brexit Thread

Too many inaccurate statements to counter there. Ireland was subject to a bailout by the troika of the IMF, the ECB and the EU commission (as were other countries). Yes the UK did provide a bi-lateral loan which was repaid ahead of time. It was similar to how the IMF bailed out a bankrupt Britain in the 70's. You seem very sure of your assertion that the EU will fail, do you have the Euro millions numbers too? Unlike, your Brexit brethern, I do believe in listening to experts. When I am sick, I listen to a doctor or nurse. If my car breaks down, I break it to a mechanic. When 90%+ of respected economists forecast negative economic consequences for Britain (& the EU & Ireland) from Brexit, I tend to believe them. Also leading business figures. I am currently visiting Dublin and there are plenty of Brexit refugees here already. Anyway, it sounds like NI business is starting to finally get through to the DUP with some softening of their stance on checks at the ports instead of a land border (i.e. NI is treated separately to the rest of the UK and will maintain EU standards & reg.s). The compromise will be May's deal with NI only backstop (as was originally proposed by the EU before the UK asked for a full UK backstop).

Solicitor - work experience assessment by whom?

What solicitor anywhere in the world pays it's employee's in cash?
  26. If the employer pays in Cash and he declares it in his certificate, can it be acceptable?
  27. Hi All Fingers crossed for those of you still waiting for your golden tickets that they come through soon! Looking for some advice on the ‘change of details’ element of immiaccount. When I applied I had to use my maiden name as I hadn’t applied for a new passport. I now have a new one in my married name and therefore filled out a form. I had to select an option for why I had got a new passport and there wasn’t one for ‘change of name’ so the closest match was ‘expired’. Should I expect to receive an email confirming they acknowledge my change of passport and name? Or just take both passports and assume it’ll show up at passport control?
