pablo 14,048 Posted July 8, 2011 Thx tink:wubclub:,it WAS an old bridge in cheshire(appley bridge)that used to cross a stream,.but the stream dried up and the council took it down and loads of the sandstone was lost. Then the local historical society campaigned for it to be rebuilt,so we got the job, they gave us one old photo of the bridge from the 60's and we had to kinda complete the jigsaw, thats not the finished bridge, there was another metre of the old sandstone that was found that took the bridge about a metre higher than on that photo,"scroll end" sandstone and stuff like that:goofy::laugh:,the new stuff was to replace the missing sandstone, hope ive explained properly:skeptical::nah::laugh:,it was interesting tho tbh,bit like a jigsaw!
