This thread is to show all Category No 5 [176 SS non-csl applicants] and also 5+ groups so that we can identify movement from the DIAC... after the 23rd September 2009 changes and now also the 8th February 2010 changes... See below the list of PiO members in the Cat 5 or 6. This page is updated on a daily basis and you can see the bottom of this post when the last update was made.

*** NOTE: After the 23rd September 2009 changes we can confirm that the Priority 5 category have started to move from the 1st December 2009.

17/02/09: development maybe? Apart from our medicals about to run out I also phoned DIAC in relation to my newborn and getting him on to our visa as adviced by McKlaut (Cheers), as I had not recieved a reply from a change of circumstances form I sent.

This morning I recieved an e-mail stating that my son had been added to my visa application and to send photo,passport and more important asked for a medical examination. I thought they were not sending people for medicals or is it because we have done ours back in 2009.

16/03/10: I plucked up the courage to ring GSM processing centre on Sunday night, as we were going out of our minds whether or not we had a case officer or not, due to the e-mail requesting our new borns medical. Apparently we have not and the e-mail was a generic e-mail that shouldn’t have been sent or something like that. So we are none the wiser and a little sad now.

Our Medicals ran out beginning of March so I imagine if we don’t hear anything before beginning of May we will probably have to re-do them all. Though the Lady on the phone said keep checking your e-mails at the end of the conversation so maybe there’s still hope or am I now reading too much into things now.
