  1. Hubby and kids have been granted their visas!!! Straight through to the 100! They had to go offshore for grant so are in Bali until the coming Wednesday. Can't wait to have them back now. Our application took 12 months 3 weeks!
  2. Woooohoooo, after a phone call to Oz house & a letter uploaded to Immi to explain our circumstances (kids cant go to school etc) we heard from our CO. She's got a view to grant early July, just wants a new police certificate. SO SO happy. Just got pack the hubby & kids off for a few days to Bali so she can grant. It looks we'll get our grant at approx. 12 months
  3. Wow - Congrats CelinaOz!! Still waiting here at almost 11 months Our case seems so straight forward, so hard to watch them all coming in in front of us! Fells like they're just doing nothing with it. Medicals expired on the 9th of May & no mention of that from anyone either.
  4. Wondering if we can get an up to date table on who's been granted etc? We're now at 10 months and 2 weeks.......hoping for some news soon!!
  5. @snifter Oh okay, fair enough. I wasn't sure how it worked. It just confuses me a little how different the grant times are and I don't understand how it works. Just a little gutting to see people being granted at 5/6 months even though I know the processing time is 10-14 months. I just hope it will be soon!!
  6. @Amandaandchris. We applied on the 29th of June 2015, so are also approaching the 10 month mark. So frustrating to watch visas coming through from so long after we applied. We're in Australia, we arrived three weeks as Im a permanent resident and it was going to expire. My husband and two children are on Visitor visas (600) waiting for their grants. I'm looking for work and we're living with my parents. Eagerly waiting for our grant so my husband can work and kids can go to school. We've got them medicare as theirs a reciprocal agreement with the U.K, so they're being immunised next week for chicken pox otherwise they cant go to school. I emailed our case officer last week and got a generic response about time waits etc. We unfortunately have a part time case officer
  7. Hi everyone. I have read through posts in PIO before for advice but never posted until I found this thread so hope that's ok. I live in the UK with my husband & our two children. My husband has applied for his 309 on the 30th June 2015 before the visa charge increase. I am sponsoring him as I have PR which I successfully received back in April after flying out on my own for 9 days. I had not lived in Australia for over 10 years & had a refusal here before I flew out to try onshore & thankfully they sad yes that time!! My PR will run out April 2016 so looks like we will have to fly out before then with them on holiday visas (luckily can stay with my parents who live in Perth) & I can work. Bit worried as before we applied, from the info I read on the processing times on their official site it said 5 months so we went ahead & did our medicals & police checks a month or so before we applied...not sure that was a good idea now!? But our application is complete. No CO as of yet, but hoping soon? Thanks for reading! Lou (P.S) Couldn't work out how to add a signature to the bottom with dates I submitted application etc?
