    Park Orchards is described as a beautiful, quiet and peaceful suburb by local residents. It is surrounded by woodlands and greenery. This suburb is not known to have an active night life. It is mostly home to families, professionals, country lovers and retirees. There are not many shopping options and restaurants within the suburb, therefore, you would have to visit surrounding suburbs to shop (which are not too far away).

    Domeney reserve is a large recreational reserve located on Park Orchard Knees Road. This reserve provides many facilities such as netball, basketball court, sporting oval, playgrounds, BBQ and picnic areas. The reserve hosts clubs which include Park Orchards Senior Football Club, Park Orchards Cricket Club and Park Orchards/ North Ringwood Parish Junior Football Club.
