Post code is 3132This suburb is a very beautiful and green suburb which is situated in a great location. It is a nice and quietfamily suburb with parks, schools, cafes, banks, etc. There are many large shopping centres nearby and is neighboured by top rated suburbs like Donvale, Blackburn, Nunawading and Vermont. 

    The suburb Mitcham was named after a farm property known as Mitcham Grove. Mitcham Grove was owned by a man William Slater. He used to grow roses and herbs used to produce fragrances and different remedies.
