Unfortunately i HAVE to wear a summer dress, LONG skirt (which i deffinately dont like lol), LACE-UP leather shoes, a blazer AND with a jumper ... im not looking forwards to it AT all .... but the school is nice ... other than the uniform Lamo

Where are you going? Is it public or private? oh and is it Catholic or..... normal? lol

Hi:

Just thought I'd add, we were over in Oz over winter and during this time, I visited a school (I'm a teacher) and I thought that the uniforms were a lot less formal generally (can't comment on private/catholic schools, I went to a normal state school) and they wore tracky bottoms and a sweater for their normal uniform, I found all secondary schools in the area with the same uniform, except the girls wore pleated tartan skirts.

If you know which school you're going to, why not check out their website :-)

I like the fact that the ozzies are so strict on uniforms, as there is less risk of anyone being different.

Hi Georgiaa,
Alot of the uniforms are the same that you see on home & away & neighbours (if you watch them)
My daughter Nikki is 14 & wears a blue blouse with a blue skirt (which is very very short) with a slight check in it, we had to have the skirt altered cause when we brought it - it just wasnt the fashion & with what we had cut off could of made another skirt
For Nikkis high school we had to buy the uniform out of Lowes & sadly for your parents it is quite expensive.
For sport if depends what type of sport she is doing but mainly black shorts & polo top with the school logos on

My daughters school (state) has a choice of uniform for girls - trousers or skirt, with a white blouse or white polo - the girls tend to go for the blouse and the boys the polo. Jumper is optional, the girls can also wear a dress, my daughters is dark blue with red and white trim on the collar and cuffs which looks really nice ....
