Hi courtney, We've been here in Perth for 19 months and my children love it. They missed their friends at first but have managed to stay in touch with the ones who matter. It does take a bit of effort. My children easily made friends at school and say it's more fun than the UK.
Hope you like it here as much as they do

We going to Perth 3rd November, Manchester, Singapore, Perth with Singapore airlines. So Excited - but nervous at same time. We really lucky that going to stay with cousins initially and then hopefully get a rented property for a couple of months before we buy. Feel so lucky - when you read posts on here about unsuccessful people moving and not working out - that we have been a couple of times and got rellies to help us on our new adventure. Will really really miss a few close friends when we leave but they are already planning their trips for next year. We are also buying web cams as leaving pressies and organising 1 night a month for a wee bottle of something cheeky for a catch up - need to get the timing right tho!!
Just me & Gary - no kids and no pets - just looking for a laid back, good weather and nice life meeting new people - basically a new life!! Bring it on.
