my xbox has got the red ring of death !!! just wondering if any 1 knows how to fix it??

You should be able to take it back to the shop where you bought it, if you have had it for over a year contact microsoft customer care Xbox.com | AU Support - Contact Xbox Support if in OZ or 0800 587 1102 if in the uk.

Once they replace it sell it and buy a PS3!

i read somewhere that microsoft will repair it free of charge even if its over a year old give them a ring
when its repaired get xbox live nothing like it on any console lol

Hi Mophead

My sons Xbox 360 had this and we sent it away to Mircosoft , they collected and returned it to us. I would not try and repair it yourself until you have spoken to them, as you may void any warranty that you may have,

Good luck I know my son was really annoyed when this happened to his.

My son says if there are 3 red lights flashing its probably to do with the mother board.

Our disk drive packed in and now it is just stuck in the cupboard because no one can be bothered to see how much it will cost to repair. Personally I am not to bothered as I get more help around the house with it out of action, well so I thought till they went out and bought a Wii instead
